Snow!! Thanksgiving Week...

As we begin a new week here we try to breath and take it slow. This week is the beginning of Holiday festives. This is the week that gets a bit more high paced as we anticipate Thanksgiving and then Christmas!

We are so excited to be with family and friends over these next weeks!

We also always enjoy exciting cabin time as we hunt down the biggest bucks that we can...:)

Dave and Jordan have had so many exciting archery hunts and lots of good times but they are ready to lay down the bow and arrow and move on to the rifles. They have been seeing some whopper bucks but archery was making it a challenge to get a shot off.

Cabin fun looks like this...:)

I have gotten a new camera. I'm determined to figure out how to shoot my manual setting better. I have been educating and liking it so far!

We had a snow already! Once the kids made it home from an early dismissal day at school (bus had challenges with snow!) we really enjoyed the snow! The roads got bad real fast and it took so many people by surprise! We got more snow then our area was calling for and it was slippery mess on the roads!

Today the last of it is melting and I see wet sloppy leaves mixed in with snow.

The Little's enjoyed this snow so much and they spent hours upon hours outside in it!

I love these two so much! I don't know what one would do without the other!...:)

They are BLESSED to have cousins next door that they love to play with!

So we have a BIRTHDAY in the house this week!

Justin will be 19 on Thanksgiving Day!

He has started a new (Dtime) challenge! His hired workout trainer works him half to death and this week he now started him on a food journey to go with his hard workouts.

Because he begins this diet on Thanksgiving week and I know how this week can get busy it was kitchen time for Justin the other day... He starts his rice over load today and packing his lunch this week will have me studying his menu and throwing in the carbs and protein!...:)

His menu for the week looks like this!...:)

This is the protein powder we trust and I'm guessing Justin will be noticing a difference in his muscle endurance soon!...:)

He is super disciplined! I'm so proud of him and his determination. He loves the healthy options. He takes the supplements I pack him. He has not been eating desserts in his lunch for many months now and he was even our biggest sugar lover!

I hope to get Birthday pictures of Justin to share on here later...:)

Jordan enjoys driving. Every chance he gets he is in the drivers seat getting his driving practice!

Jenika is enjoying the kitchen a ton! She pulls out the cookbook and randomly makes stuff. She made caramel pudding the other day and I wanted to grumble when she picked pudding because I know its tricky to get it just right but I left her go and even though it turned out a bit clumpy it has great flavor....:) Today she goes to Eva's after school to help with her cupcake venture and I know that she will thrive helping Eva in the kitchen! If you want amazing cupcakes look up "Eva's Treats" on instagram! They are so very yummy and I have not tried a flavor yet that I don't LOVE!

Javon LOVED the snow!! He loves winter just for snow and it was so much fun to see his excitement the whole way through! He is excited to do his fourth grade chapel this week and the Thanksgiving party at school is something he is looking forward to as well!

It will be a short week!

I'm off to get Thanksgiving menus together and fold some laundry...

Have a BLESSED week of GIVING THANKS!!
