The weekend was long. Full of extra rest, fun times, great food, remembering what Jesus has done for us on the cross.
Friday we had fasting and prayer in the morning. Eva was here with us all the days of Easter Vacation. We enjoy her very much. She has become one of us. She joins in devotions and mealtimes. We just love how she makes herself at home around here. (Jessica went back home to Virgina on Sunday so Eva has her corner of the house back)
We did some outside work Friday afternoon... The garden is thriving! I have bought my last box of greens from Wegman's for the winter season and we are back to picking greens from the garden!! There is seriously nothing like it!...
Herbs wait to be planted... Dinner on the porch is just perfect these days!!
The antibiotics seem so out of place these days but I took the plunge and took them. My tooth has got a new implant and I won't be to proud to take the antibiotic this time. It is going so much better then last time and I'm super excited to have this tooth drama behind me... Now I recover from the antibiotic that helped me recover...:) Lots of extra probiotics and yeast cleanses going on these days!
Homemade sauerkraut was made over the weekend...
Dave was away... Ottawa Canada this time... He was invited to speak to a group of investors there. He shared the topic " How to scale up and take your investing to the next level" He just LOVES this type of thing! I'm so proud of him and how he is putting his education to good use!
I finally put his suitcase in the closet this morning and I think it will stay there for at least a little bit longer this time... Who Knows...:)
Church on Sunday was special with lots of testimony, confessions, prayer time, worship and then family communion time. We came home for a great lunch and a beautiful day to enjoy!
Justin and Eva keep things hopping around here! Justin never was a boring one but Eva just adds to it!! The tennis balls are everywhere today still! They play hours and hours of tennis wiffleball!
Water balloons lay broken everywhere and my windows took a beating as they threw tons of those water filled balloons at each other and the windows got the ones that missed the target!! We heard all of them tearing around the house off and on all weekend as they threw these balloons at each other!!
Games were played to!
My family came over on Saturday evening. We did supper, baseball, and mom and dad had fun goodies to hide for the kiddos. Mom did an egg painting project with the little ones in the basement to! We so enjoy getting together!
These kiddos are so very blessed with grandparents that make every gathering special!...
Micah found the grand prize!
Baby Kiersten is growing by leaps and bounds and she is so lovable!!
Javon is always so excited to have time with cousins!! They are his best friends!
Eva, Jen and Javon walked the mile to where Ginger was being boarded for the winter and drove him home with his pony cart. Eva was brave as he is a handful on the road! She did have her hands full with Ginger but even more so with Jenika as she was a bit spooked on the pony cart when Ginger was being so jumpy! They did make it and we hope for a pony drama free summer!
The pond is up and running!! We love hearing the waterfall in the summer time! The pond got a good cleaning last week! Bryant was here with me for the day and he was totally entertained by the pond guys and the fish he was rescuing! He reminded me so much of Jordan as he hung around the pond all day long!!
Today we recover from the long weekend... The house was used so hard the past days! The floors were so dirty! The laundry was piled high! The grass is still high and waits to be mowed... The house is quiet today and it must wonder what happened to the noise! It got a good cleaning this morning and now I'm moving on to the outside... It looks overwhelming but we just love the lush green everywhere as things burst to life!!
Back to Eden gardening is going strong and the garden is popping to life!! It will be a bit yet until I put in the herbs and other more tender plants.
Jordan was having a bit of an allergy struggle and he felt he needed a boost... He started a cleanse yesterday. He does these products every one and half hours. NO FOOD AT ALL!
The cleanse goes for a week and he is on day two. He is amazing! He has so much willpower if he chooses to. I'm so thankful he reads his body on his own more then he used to!! I'm so proud of him. He asked me to take him to do some fishing after school today. I said sure because I think it helps him to get out away from the kitchen and everyone else as they eat... He finds ways to do what he knows needs done for the sake of his body. I hope this is the boost he needs to kick his allergies!
Enjoy this beautiful spring day!!
