Easter... 2021

Phillippians 2:7-8

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The meaning of Easter is something that is not to be taken for granted. God did it all when he sent his son to that cross! He had to forsake him and watch as he took on the sins of the whole world! I cannot even grasp how hard this must have been and even for Jesus to have to endure it after he was strong enough to stand up against the devil as he walked with the human creation here on earth!

He did not deserve that cruel ridicule, beatings and then ultimately his death!

WE DID!

HE WENT SO FAR AS TO DIE IN OUR PLACE!

THANK YOU JESUS!

This is the time of year we observe Easter. The season of spring when all things are springing back to life seem to fit so well with the Easter story!

We have so much to be thankful for!

Here on the Zook property we are springing into spring!

Dave and I planted a dozen new trees this week! I love to plant anything and everything so planting a dozen trees was a rewarding feeling!

All things fruit... The only thing is we wonder why we didn't do this ten years ago!?

When is the best time to plant a tree Dave asks Javon?... Ten years ago! You know the next best time Javon?... Today!... We went for today I guess...;)

It got cold here again today! We grilled our steaks in hoodies again this eve...

Javon loves Nub but Dave is her favorite person no matter how much Javon tries to convince her to like him better...:) I don't know we ever had a more spoiled or more loved dog then Nub... She loves it so much when we pay attention to het that she squeals...:)

Always so wonderful to hear the fish pond up and running after winter is done freezing it up solid...

I'm off to begin a long weekend with family... Fasting/Prayer, Communion at church and time with my family at my sisters are a few things planned for the next few days... and just some extra time resting.

This is a great time to read and reflect on The story of Jesus's death and resurrection. If you have not watched "The Chosen" season 1 I highly recommend it! Its free to watch and the life of Jesus is brought out on a captivating way in this series! So excited for season 2!

Happy Easter!!
