We are just so enjoying the warm summer nights, the pool fun, pony rides, golf cart, wild berries, garden harvest, the late night campfires, cousins, the sleeping until daylight stuff is great to! I love to peek in on them at six in the morning while the sun is already beating in the windows and I know they will sleep for hours yet! School will bring a tidal wave of shock to these kiddos bodies!...:)
We are busy during the day... Yesterday my outdoor day started at six thirty in the morning in my garden... raking, picking, snacking on peas and cucumbers before breakfast all the while jamming to praise and worship music... time got away from me so fast down there and so soon things were stirring in the house... it was nine thirty by now! I just love to garden!! The outdoor day then ended cleaning up the fish pond at sunset! I even ate lunch under the shade tree! The kids were in and out of the pool and I saw them often but we all kind of do our own thing around here these days...:) We are never bored!
Today was my Kombucha Tea party... It was a huge success! I want to do it again but not until school starts. The tasting was fun. The blueberry Kombucha was probably the most popular, grape is great, cherry apple was great. Ginger had a fun pop! All in all it was great! I would have loved to do more one on one with each one that was here but with so many here (at least 30 ladies) it felt like many were in and out without me even saying to much to them! I hope it was enjoyable and I love to see the side conversations going on because we can always learn from each other!

Marlene had us buddy group ladies for an afternoon of swimming! Linda picked up my kids so I could clean up and breath a bit before meeting them at the pool. Thanks Marlene!! It was great to catch up a bit! When I talk to these ladies about what life is like for me with a teenager in the house and they have not yet reached "my stage" they tell me I need to write a book so they can get it out in a few years when they are in "my stage"...:) I have another Justin story by the way...:}

He is learning lessons the hard way... He made a quick decision on Sunday to try to run from a cop! The cop came towards them head on going down the road and he of course noticed an overload when Justin had nine people in his small car! They didn't plan to go far and they decided they will be fine if they go slow! Well he came at them and noticed so as he whipped it around to come after them Justin thought he might make a quick getaway before he gets to them... He tried to make it into my cousin Jonathan's driveway and hit a bush. A tree was just over from that and a work truck was parked just from that on the other side! It could have been so much worse! The cop of course saw this go off and the getaway idea back fired majorly. Now Justin has some car damage (fixable though) and he waits for fines and points to show up in the mail. His young driving record is already not clean! All because of overload! Seriously... Okay I'll stop there...:} He learned another valuable lesson on his journey through life.
I hope he stays well. He is losing so much sleep with his demanding job! He leaves the house between three and four most every morning and he gets home around seven this week. His eyes are bloodshot but I think the heat takes its toll to. He says he is fine and he chose to go watch a ballgame tonight when he could be sleeping so I guess he don't need as much sleep anymore!? He says if he would just ~work and sleep~ he wouldn't have a social life and who wants that at sixteen years old!? I like to think he keeps me young...:)
Dave is staining garage doors... Look above him! Do you see it!?? Do I tell him it's there and hope he leaves them be or do we keep it a secret and get them when he is out!? Why do they like it here so much!??
Jonathan plans to get them after dark.
We had so much fun at the cabin with my family!! I will do a post on that soon! I forgot my camera of all things so I need to get some pictures form sisters before I can put them on here.
Running is so very warm these days! I hope to get out earlier tomorrow morning to beat the heat yet at the same time we get to bed so late and sleeping longer feels great to!... Summertime at it's best I'd say!!
