This morning when Javon came for breakfast he looked over at the Christmas tree and saw all the wrapped gifts were gone... He questioned "Will we still celebrate or are we all done?"
Well Javon... We can continue to celebrate Jesus all year long and we should never forget to celebrate the birth story of Jesus and why he came to earth. The humbling experience of the whole birth story of Jesus really has us checking into the meaning of "humbleness". We can bet that the story was far from the way we see it in pictures with the neat stable.
We had a great Christmas day! We were blessed to arrive at church early for early morning refreshments and fellowship before the service began. The service included lots of testimonies from people that shared on the "good things" God has done in their lives in 2016. The service ended a bit early and we were off to dads.
We enjoyed wonderful food! Everyone was so hungry and the big cooked meal mom and dad had ready tasted wonderful! Thanks Mom and Dad!!
We love our whole day at dads. We play games eat snack all day long, drink coffee, love on Kath's babies and the guys always play a game of football to get fresh air and exercise. Dave stood on the sidelines this year and yesterday was a bit rough but today once again he seems better and we are thankful! We enjoyed a run this morning and Dave made us a feast for breakfast!

The kids opened gifts and mom and dad gave them each a personalized cube with a blanket in it for Christmas. We siblings all got lawn chairs.
After opening gifts the kids so enjoy playing with the new gifts and Jenika and Javon had there motor scooters along and these were a huge hit on the sunny day we were blessed with!
This picture cracks me up... Jenika has one of those shocking packs of gum and it looks like she got Jordan with it!...:) The picture was to be of Javon but it looks like the background stole the show!

This morning I stopped at dads to help with some clean up and mom and dad were busy boxing food leftovers, (there neighbors will be blessed!) cleaning floors and cleaning up after us all. They are truly a blessing and they work together so well before and after hosting us all! Things are set up so nicely when we arrive and we soon have it a chaotic. Mom does so well to sit and relax with us and then the day after they clean up half the day...:)
