Back To School...

We are back to school today!!

This morning we are back into the school schedule.

We are so very BLESSED!!

Jordan begins his sophomore year at Linville Hill High School at Houston Run in Gap.

He has worked hard all summer and his earnings were something he was enjoying a lot because he is saving up for his first car and he has gotten a few fun new toys to add to his archery hunting collection...:) He is super excited to start off archery season and even more excited about driving a car!

He loves his social life! He loves youth group and he really enjoys Tuesday evening Living Room where lots of youth gather at WC.

He Uber's everywhere. He loves to meet new Uber drivers and his stories are often real fun. He likes this better then us driving him now because he can see where they are at each minute and they are very dependable and most times only minutes away. No more waiting for me as I scurry about doing last minute house stuff before I drive him somewhere...:) (lifesaver to because his places are never close!)

He still loves the outdoors! Every night he is home he will be out on the golf cart looking for deer. Shooting his bow is something he does often these days to! Sitting in school will be a HUGE adjustment for him as always.

I can't wait to see the ways you grow this year Jordan!! I think your year ahead looks exciting and full of great opportunity! I love having you around and the joy and fun you add to our home is something I thank God for everyday!...:)

I think he looks so big to be wearing a school back pack!...:)

I Love you Jordan!! Enjoy 10th to the fullest!!

Jenika is going into Sixth grade this year at Linville Hill Main Campus. She was anticipating her first day of school for weeks now! She even had her clothes laying out and ready when she awoke this morning! (I hope this lasts all year long!)

She has grown so much over the summer!! She is a big help and has really taken a liking to the kitchen which I'm so excited about! (I love kids in the kitchen with me!! Jordan started work and I missed his hands in the kitchen a lot! Now Jenika steps in and it feels so right!)

She loves time with me, her puppy and her pony most in life! She loves Horseland episodes and she would love to do these all day long! It really is good that school started because it seemed with the rainy weather and the boredom combination I'd find her gravitating to the screens way to much.

She finished all her summer school workbooks that got sent home after the year was over last year. She reads every night before she goes to sleep. She is into these books right now...

This girl still loves a good party! She will try to bargain her way to her own way. She will test my patience to the max. She was put into our family for a wonderful purpose and I have been growing right along side her as she grows into the beautiful young lady that God created her to be!...:)

She loves her cousins!! She would live at Jonathan's if I'd let her!

She loves her teachers at Linville and the two she has this year are the two that worked with her class last year so she was so excited to connect with them again!!

I Love You Jenika!! I LOVE when we have "girl time"! I Love how you love people like your dad does! He tells me "She will make a wonderful sales person one day!"...:) You will go far!

Have a great year in sixth grade!!

Javon is going into fourth grade at Linville Hill main campus...

I could go on and on about Javon!...:)

He was so hard to get out of bed this morning! His first words were "I'm gonna cry" and he said it with tears in his voice! It melted me!

He loves all things home and all things summer! He would be a great home school child and at times I wish I was cut out for it because he would do so well!

He likes to sleep and sleep!! Mornings if we let him he'd be in bed past ten o'clock! He likes the slow pace of life. He LOVES his big brothers!! Jordan for sure and its no wonder because Jordan does so much with him and their personalities match up so well!

Javon will get back into it. It just takes him time to adjust and he does well in school. He just does not like a bunch of fuss and a lot of people and commotion wear him...:)

He loves one on one time!

He LOVES to sing and he doesn't even know it. He is the one we hear singing all day long to himself...:)

I just LOVE to snuggle him and his sweet kisses on my cheek everyday melt me every time!! He is the perfect youngest child!!

I love your sweet personality so much Javon!!

This morning when I woke you up for school I said "Hey today is the first day of fourth grade!! You won't ever have a first day of fourth grade again after today so that makes today real special!" I really do have to get creative when waking you because you would burst into tears if I wouldn't sound all cheerful!...:) Sleeping in a dark room with your fan seems to be something you really really enjoy!:)

To The School Kiddos...

The school routine can be stressful. The days in the classroom may sometimes seem long. The school work may seem so demanding and daunting at times. But know that you are capable. Know that God has plans for your life. Know that life requires action and effort. Know that the world needs someone just like you to make it better.

Know that "HOME" is your safe place. Your place for refreshing rest. A place where we laugh a lot and accept each other for who we are.

A place where we share hearts and know that nobody will be down your throat about pizzly stuff.:)

 HOME has a meaning all of its own and I pray you will always want to come "Home" no matter where you go in the world! But we can't just stay here... Go out and make the world around you a better place... I know our "Home" is a better place just by having you in it! If you add the spark to your school surroundings like you do here at home I know you will have a great year!

I LOVE YOU... Mom

Have a great school year you guys!!

We LOVE Linville Hill Christian School!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today we still have soggy damp ground!! It dumps rain often and yet its humid enough to fog windows. The air conditioner upstairs gave out and we had fresh air to sleep the last few nights. It felt great and as the leaves start to fall it really feels like another season is moving in even though our August has not really been like a normal August! We move our Rain Forest feel right into Fall I guess...:)
School Sale prep is in high gear (we are on the sale committee one more year) Food prep for the church picnic is in high gear (we are on the food committee) The annual Investor Party Prep is in high gear and we anticipate over a hundred people here for that on Friday night! This pretty much just requires getting the property ready. The food comes catered which is a huge blessing!! The entertainment comes and most everything for this is held outside. We have been praying for beautiful weather! (this year its a stretch...:})
I'm off to school.... Meeting and Sale Details
