Thankful Today!

Thankful is my word for today!!

And I'm always THANKFUL when its time for my Gardina to bloom!! My porch smells AMAZING!

This Saturday morning starts out very refreshing because we had a beautiful rain last evening to water the hot parched plants gardens and pretty much everything that was thirsty got a good heaven sent rain.

Dave got up early and ran Wolf's Hollow Park with a group of guys. He came back sighing the deep satisfying sigh that only comes after a hard run. I was jealous of that sigh...:)

I want to get to the reason I'm on here on a beautiful Saturday morning and that is to share the results I got from my tests that I was doing last week concerning my uterus.

The ultrasound was how they could see what was going on and my doctor called me last evening to say it was very enlarged and very think but they found no polyps, lesions, fibroid or any such thing!

This is great news!!

Because of my symptoms a hysterectomy is an option but definitely not recommended at this time!

I have very imbalanced hormones and my body is very over loaded with estrogen while very low on progesterone.

The uterus wall is so thick from this imbalance and the size of my uterus well that's just weird. She called it "bulky" and the low back pain comes from all of this imbalance as well.

You don't even know how happy I was when all my doctor recommended at this time was see a nutritionist and work on balancing out those hormones which will take care of the iron levels and the weird symptoms that came with it! She wants to keep a close eye and see me every three months but for today I work on exercises and stretches that will take the uterus back up and keep the running pace very minimal for right now.

You don't even want to know what I have been eating the past week! I think its all good but I would never offer it to guests...:)

Garden of Life is where I'll get the hormone balance along with a few more natural hormonal balances.

When I tell my family That I'm going to watch my diet better they laugh out loud! Like how could you even!? I know but I still say that I can...:)

When researching all of this I find it really is important to keep thing in balance and I don't want to ignore strange symptoms again.

I made mention to a few people that my fingers fall asleep and tingle and prick real bad. When I was on the mower I had to keep my hands down real low or they went numb. When I reached up to do my hair and when I slept with my hands upward they'd fall asleep and feel all weird! I researched "Carpal Tunnel" and assumed I had that.

My legs were so restless, I never could sit for to long and night time was difficult. I often got very little sleep. (many times just getting out of bed and going downstairs for a few hours so I not disturb Dave)  Hair loss. Nails that peeled and broke. Weird stuff that I know are hormone related.

I have been slowing down. I got a weighted blanket that I love. I have been sleeping so much better. I have not had a grain of sugar, a sip of coffee, any dairy or bite of meat for a week.

My foods were mostly green and I'm once again thankful that I have come to love green vegetables and healthy foods that at one time would have tasted so yucky to my palate...:)

Anyway I'm thanking God for good results and the weight feels lighter this morning.

I'm thankful for doctors that can diagnose.

I'm thankful that I went to "try" to give blood. (Thanks to my friend Marian who is fighting cancer!) They set up a blood drive to honor her... Love you Marian! (Keep fighting the fight!!!)

I like to give blood when I can because I have a rare type, they are always happy to see donors with my blood type I guess because its rare. Now I have to wait eight weeks because of low iron but I'm thankful we can work on that and donate again soon.

I'm thankful for rest and this blissful summer schedule that is less demanding right now.

We do have kids camp and Zook family vacation coming up next week so we gear up a bit but for today its slower although we are having another party at the pond this evening!...:)

I'm thankful for healthy garden goodies and healthy food options today!

I love both of these...

Garden Tower is back to doing what it does best... Growing us greens...:)
'

Yesterday afternoon and evening this was our spot until we got chased in by rain... After the rain we enjoyed a campfire and Dave flew his pharchute plane to!

My book I have read a few times already and still always love it...

These trees! I'm so excited to have my very own Mimosa tree!! I have been eyeing these for a few years already!

Now I have another one I want called "Catalpa" (Thanks Linda for the onfo on these!) but my nursery didn't have those at this time. Dave says no more trees! I say plant all the flowering trees!! (they get in the way of his air craft..:})

The other two are cherry trees we planted in the garden next to the two apple trees.... I'm still hoping to get those "Catalpa's" soon...;)

I have a new respect for the sick. I never liked places like these and when I went with my mom to many of her doctor appointments years ago I always told myself I would try my best to avoid these offices! I wanted to learn more about health and wellness so I didn't end up here... but you know what "I haven't even made a dent" in all I want to learn and practice and no matter how healthy we think we are or will become or how we care for ourselves we can still have imbalances that affect our whole body!

We were created so uniquely and God truly desires us to be whole and healthy. We just don't have it apart from him. We must lean on him for health and healing because we will never get it all perfect. He knows us best but I will say today "Pay attention to those symptoms".

I'm THANKFUL!

Enjoy this HOT n HAZY SUMMER Day!!

Thanks so much to those of you that said a prayer for me this week!! I love you all!!
