Yellow Stone National Park...

How beautiful!... This is Montana...

When I asked them how the trip was the answer was "COLD"...:)

These guys so enjoy these guy trips! They eat well to!

This is what the second day "without a guide" looked like! I asked Jordan how many times he flipped his sled and he said at least ten!

Oh Boy!

Yup I pray extra and am always thankful when they return safely!

I think they are blessed...:) I love the relationship they share and how they know and accept each personality for what it is...:)

They watched the Super Bowl in a big IMax theater Sunday night. They made their way home all day yesterday! They had about eight inches of snow on the last day there so getting out was a bit of a challenge with the plane deicing and all. They had a real rush on the layover!

It feels so nice to have them home again!!

Things I notice in a big way when these big guys are absent...

Very little laundry!

One dozen eggs lasted us the entire weekend (instead of one day!)

Kitchen stayed way more tidy!

No shoes or dirt from them...;)

No waiting to hear the driveway buzzer at night indicating that the big boys are home.

No coffee waiting for me in the morning. (I missed this)

No hearing or laughing at the daily stories.

We had to dog sit Jack... Whew he can be somtn...:) He does have an underground fence collar and he does respect it sometimes but if he has a big enough reason he will barge right through and just take the zap! I had to go way down yonder on my golf cart looking for him yesterday! I took Nub and she sniffed him out. I was calling his name to and all of the sudden he came out of the woods somewhere down close to neighbors...:{ I think we have a male dog that will roam if given the chance...:( Nub dares not go over the line and its so nice! Poor Jack has to be in his kennel more unless we are watching out for him or he will run off.

BUT....

I don't mind that they make laundry. Its a sign of life and action! BLESSED!

I just got ten dozen eggs. (I feel blessed to be able to get fresh free range organic ones from a farm next door!) Getting eggs by the tons is considered a blessing because they have good healthy appetites. BLESSED!
.
I don't mind that they like good food! (and that they often make it themselves because they know what they like)  I love to be in the kitchen. Although cleaning up after them is not my most favorite thing but they do good and make it easy for me. This is a BLESSING to me because it often ends up being the gathering place where we all end up together...:) BLESSED!

The shoes.. Well I don't know how many more hundreds of times I will put the shoes away but its another sign of life and the other day when Justin took off with Dave's shoes (because he said he was in to much of a hurry) and he mumbled to me about where his shoes are I said "Be thankful you have a son that takes off and wears your shoes...:) Someday you will miss these days...:) He wasn't convinced! BLESSED!

The driveway buzzer... I hear it countless times when we are all home and in and out! It seems we all have places to come and go everyday and it has become normal for me to listen for it in my sleep until we are all in for the night! BLESSED!

Justin makes a french press coffee before he leaves in the morning and he leaves just enough of hot coffee for me to put in my mug to drink later. I have come to appreciate and love this! (I rarely drink coffee first thing) BLESSED!

The stories and conversation. I love it at all hours of the day! Its always great to hear the chatter going on! BLESSED!

The dog... Well he is cute and we love him but is he a blessing? Not all the time...:) He made my lip puffy and bleed the other day and I'm still kind of grumpy at him for that... But he can't help it so I love him.

Today is raining. Yesterday was sunny and 60'! It was perfect! Jenika woke up this morning and looked outside... She sighed and said "Uh why can't everyday just be sunny?" I know I feel ya Jen!

We are going to our Belize island in one week from today!! We are BLESSED to have the tickets in hand and the bags ready to pack! Now that everyone packs their own bag I don't get so paranoid about packing so early and being all organized. They all pack and haul there own stuff now. This is the great thing about traveling with older kids! Plus Belize has everything we need and who needs much when you plan to spend everyday in a swimsuit?...:)

I'm not on here as much as I once was so the next post will most likely be showing you those beautiful tropical waters of Belize! I'm excited but the kids are even way more...:)

Dave's group of investors will be down I think like four or five days before the rest of us so we will be meeting up with Dave in Belize. He leaves I think this weekend already!

HAPPY WINTER....
