Scattered Family...

We were a scattered family this week!!

The Little's and I are now back from the wonderful Sunshiney State of Florida!! It feels nice to be getting this scattered family back together again! We were so happy to see the big boys and we are still waiting for Dave to arrive home after his week on the "Investor's Summit at Sea Cruise"

Our drive to and from Florida went well. We had to drive through some rain coming home today which slowed us up some but the kids did great and slept all night long as the wheels were turning! I was so glad to have brother Allen help with the driving and it was great to spend the week with him and also Kath and her kiddos!

Mom and Dad love Florida and they were happy to spend time with the grandchildren this week. They had a house down behind us so they enjoyed coming and going as they pleased..:)

We spent two days at the beach. The weather was so sunny, warm and lovely every day we were there!! It gave me summer fever for sure!!

We had a house that was perfect for us. Kath had reserved it for two weeks originally but we cut it back to one week since we were without daddy's and big boys..;) We had our own backyard pool to and in Pinecraft this is rare. We were so thankful as it gave the kids lots to do during the hot sunny days!! The beach was perfect to but with so many little ones plus the crazy spring break beach we only did the beach a few times and mostly enjoyed the pool! We enjoyed biking, we enjoyed the parks, we enjoyed ice cream, we enjoyed early morning (warm) runs! We enjoyed the OUTDOORS!!

My Little's and I walked to church with Mom and Dad on Sunday morning. It was a beautiful morning and it made me miss our warm summer mornings here!!

Allen was baby Alan's next favorite person after his beloved momma!!

 Kath was so brave! She is a wonderful mother to her three kiddos! I enjoyed spending the week with her and I'm so proud of the way she mothers her little ones. She is so organized and she was the one that did the laundry and kept the house cleaned up most of the week!. I would find the towels hung and the flip flops all washed out and laid out on the wall to dry after our beach days!

Baby Alan used to adore me but he has become once serious momma baby and I really wasn't able to do much with him at all. It was kind of a bummer because I felt so helpless as to helping her with him when she needed someone. She missed Smoky a lot!! They never really spent time apart so it was a stretching week for them. (my phone used to be tied up most of the evening! Gotta love it!) Thanks Kath for a great week and thanks for making this trip happen! You are a wonderful sister and I love how we are so honest in our relationship!! My sisters are so GOOD for me!!

Pictures on the beach is not the most fun for Little's! They would much rather play in the sand and Javon was itching to be left loose on the beach!!...;)

I took these four for ice cream yesterday. They had wet swimsuits and the sun was a scorcher! They were ready to hit the pool again by the time our walk to the ice cream shop was over!!

My grandparents spend winters here in Florida. It had probably been ten years since I was here in Pinecraft but this place hold special memories of my growing up years!! We spent many weeks here at Daudy D's Florida house!! I was blessed to spend a week here with four generations!!

We enjoyed supper with Mom and Dad, Daudy D's and Herbie and Annie before we headed home last evening. Thanks Daudy D's for treating us all!! We are so blessed to have wonderful Godly parents and grandparents!

I have about two hundred pictures on file to record this fun get way! It was great to be away the same time Dave was!! It made my week go so much faster!! My big boys played a huge part in all of this as well!!!

The big boys week...
Justin spent last weekend with a school friend and the snow was the highlight!! They went snow mobiling and boarding on the ski slopes!! He enjoyed his weekend so much!! Thanks Dan and Rose!!

Jordan spent the weekend with sis Marilyn and her family. His favorite place to be!! He ran a 5K with Mark on Saturday!!...

He ran 3.58 miles in thirty four minutes!! I had a proud mom moment when he texted me his time! He loved it! He is running a few more school related 5K's next week and he is signed up for a color run to! I hope he becomes a long time runner!! It would be so good for his health!!

Dave's week was educational and I'm sure he will be here shortly bubbling over about all he has learned!! He was sending me pictures some but it was four days in a row that I hadn't heard from him! I don't like this and Kath was wondering how I survive!...:) I guess you get used to it after awhile!?

Puerto Rico...

My time away was educational to! I had a few meetings and Mom was wondering if I'm going to get anything else done..;) I met with a health coach. I met with the lady that we are working with about Dave's allergies. She is the one that we are getting our herbal tinctures from. I could have sat and listened to her all day! I met another lady that is a natural Doctor. I talked to her about Jordan and she is hopeful he will start to make his own antibodies again!

We cheated our diets this week. It is time to get back to business now...:)

The big boys did awesome at keeping house!! The house is clean and tidy! Sis Marilyn came a few times to do morning work and she was impressed! They even made up there beds when I wasn't here! I wasn't sure if they would or not. They do it on routine but I wasn't sure if they would when I was out all week!...:) They used the kitchen hard! They used the sun room a lot to!! Thanks to all of you guys that stopped to keep them company for awhile in the evening hours! They did great with getting lunches packed and to the bus on there own. (I didn't ask but I'm thinking Jordan was the one doing the lunches and meals!) He made the remark to me "Justin would have starved without me here!" :)
I love my independent boys!! They are so helpful and they made this little get away possible for me and my Little's!! Thanks you guys!!

I enjoyed every minute with these two!!...

Some of the bags need to be unpacked yet. The groceries were gotten earlier and I had a nap to. All that driving takes me awhile to recover from! We are looking forward to having the man of the house pull in here very soon then we will have our scattered family back together and it will feel so nice to all be under one roof again tonight!!
