SnoW DaY!!!

We have a SNOW DAY!!!

The beauty that is surrounding us this morning is breathtaking! We have snow falling. Lots of it! The kiddos are delighted to not have school and enjoy a snow day at home!! We have been doing lots of school work with the Little's this morning to work ahead for next week. They were playing school as they were doing school work and now they are outside for recess playing in the white fluffy snow! I'm the teacher and I must make use of this recess time before they come in for lunch...:) The snow is still coming down and so lovely!!

As you can see we are wearing mix/match snow gloves! Time for Spring I guess because the gloves and caps are disappearing. I usually find them in the spring when I start to clean up outside. The pond is often the hot spot where I find the winter clothes!..:)

The birds are enjoying the seeds among the snow...

I had busy plans today. I was going to be here alone doing all my last minute stuff for our trip. The house needs cleaned and the kitchen work is still not all finished for the big boys. But the snow has changed our plans. The house will not get as cleaned as I wanted it to before we leave and we are enjoying the snow day along with preparation for the south! We hope to be out of here when this beauty all turns to slop!...:)

I looked into the Sarasota Half Marathon because I knew it was during Spring Break but it takes place the morning after we get back home. One week earlier and I could have ran this! I would have loved to!! I look forward to running in a warmer place since we haven't gotten a run in all week! The weather has been to icy and sloppy!

I'm not sure how much snow they are saying we will get but we already have lots and it's still snowing so heavily!

Enjoy The Beauty of the fresh white Snow!!

PS. I'm not sure if I will post from the south. I want to enjoy my Little's and family time. I want to record our trip so I plan to take the laptop just in case but I might just catch up later...:) Thank you for praying for our safety. I feel responsible with two of my younger siblings and all the children riding in the van with us. I got lots of books downloaded to my phone to help keep me awake for the late night driving hours. I must remember that my little brother is going on age twenty one and he will be the man that I need if I need one but he still seems like my "baby brother"...:) I look forward to hanging out with him and Kath for a week! (wish we could take sis Marilyn to!)
