Dienner Vacation at the Cabin...

We are Thanking God for the safe and fun weekend we had at the cabin with my family! We left Friday afternoon in two loads with Dave and I both driving a load this year.

We enjoyed each other in games, runs, food, and Sunday morning devotions and singing together. It was a bit rainy to start the weekend off. Dave, Sam and I did a trail run in the rain that had us all soaked! (four 1/2 miles) As the weekend went on the sun did come out and we enjoyed lots of time outdoors! The new cabin is great and I can tell we will really enjoy the basement and the big yard that is there!...

Jenika got into "Poison Ivy" at camp somewhere! We picked up the camp kids Thursday evening and Friday morning when she met me in the kitchen I did a gasp and said an "Oh NO!"

The poor girl had a long few days! If we would have been around home I would probably have taken her to the Doctor, but she left for the cabin Friday at lunchtime with Dave's load and I was hoping it wouldn't get any worse! I forgot it gets worse before better most times! She was so brave! She kept ice and the fans handy and we also made a vinegar/oil mixture for a spritz bottle to help with the itch. She also had her share of children's Tylenol! (she still itched!)

Down the back of her legs. Wrapped around her little nose. On her lips. Around her ears. Around her eyes. This girl was loaded!! My kids only have to come near the stuff and it grabs them! All of them! Dave and I get it to! This stuff can make for some miserable summer days for us! I wonder why God would have created something so nasty among the great beautiful outdoors!? But he did and we need to be on the look out for it! Here at home I often rub the Little's down with coconut oil/essential oils if they are going out close to the woods where they like to pick berries. I tell them over and over again around here..."Stay out of the woods!" She must have forgotten at camp and with nobody to remind her she caught it bad! I bet she will remember it for next year after this weekend!!... I felt so bad for her and we had a few long nights at the cabin!

It was fun getting to know Lynn better. It's great to see brother so in love!...:) Welcome to the Dienner family Lynn! We love you already!

The hut in the pines is always fun for the kiddos'...

Thanks Mom and Dad for all you do for us! We look forward to the Dienner Vacations every summer! The kids count the days!! This was the start of a fun/busy July for us!! We are thankful for FREEDOM! We are thankful for a God that is in control of everything!! We are thankful that God has so blessed us beyond what we ever deserve! We are thankful to have families that love each other!

My Siblings and I...

Of course we wanted a picture of all the kiddos... Baby Alan don't like to be to far from his mama... Even though he loves us all...:) He had a fit and he ended up kicking Austin in the nose and upsetting him and Kath ended up with this!...:) Her stage is fun to watch! She is the best Mama!! She is busy! Marilyn then took control and took the boys... You can't see her in the picture on the bottom but she is right there beside them!...:) They are a bundle of cuteness!! Being an Aunt is a BLESSING!!

It's time to get out and get the grass cut AGAIN!! The rains have been wonderful and the corn is so high!! As is the yard!! This was taken on the driveway this morning! ... The right side is a wall of red raspberries that are almost ready! The kiddos love to chump on these berries!

My run was hard this morning after a weekend of snacking any time we felt like it!

Camp is over now. My morning sitter is back. It's time to get serious about morning runs!

Jordan loved camp! He loved the cabin time with family! His infusion Thursday night after camp went smoother then ever! He has a Doctor appointment for this afternoon though for an eye issue. He either has something in his eye or an eye infection. His one eye is swollen, red and sore! The kids all slept really late this morning! Jordan said it felt amazing after so many late nights this past week!!

I have a new baby to visit this week!! Congratulations to Mike and Lori!! The first of the three babies are here!! Baby Boy Lapp... Austin Kendrick was born last Wednesday! It will be fun to have a new baby in the group again!!

Have a Blessed Monday!! We are so BLESSED!!
