Welcome Baby Bryant... Weekly Catch up POST...

Sitting down at the computer today has me picking my battles...:)

I have Christmas pictures to download and order, cards to work on, online shopping to do and I really want to do a quick post to! As the pictures download I'll share a bit on our week and the upcoming holiday excitement in the air!...:)

First a new baby is here!! It was so much fun to finally meet this adorable little guy last weekend! Welcome to the world baby Bryant Allen!

Baby belongs to Danny, Rachel Ann and Ava...

I went out to snuggle him for awhile again this morning! He looks even much older then he did a few days ago when we met him for the first time! The smells of a newborn is something I never get tired of and I savored it today as I snuggled him! Rachel Ann is so happy to be on this side of the
delivery and Ava is so cute as she loves on her baby brother!

Dave made it in this morning about seven AM after a long nights flight! He was in San Francisco the past few days at a Marin Katusa event. A Silver and Gold Summit... He never seems to tire of these classroom type settings!...:) He soaks like a sponge every time!

Katusa Club members went out to dinner with Rick Rule, Marin Katusa, Frank Holmes and Doug Casey. Here is Dave with a mentor of his... Rick Rule

Two of his brothers were with him on this trip so I'm sure it was enjoyable as well as educational but I didn't get to talk to him to much about it since he was straight out the door to work about as soon as he stepped in this morning... He looked so jet lagged and tired and I just wanted to take his place at work so he could go to bed for awhile...:)

Jordan enjoyed time with his class Friday evening! They had a blast playing games, golf carting in the dark, campfire discussion and an overnight sleepover with the guys! They were all over the place in his room on air mattresses and just walking in there was a challenge! Six pizzas proved to be to many so Saturday morning breakfast was bacon and eggs on top of a cheese pizza! (Dave's idea and it was yummy!)

Somehow the meadow gate got left open in the commotion of having this class here and Jenika has lost Ginger!! He must have ran off and we can't locate him anywhere!!?? Looking for her lost pony was top priority on Saturday and Jordan spent hours on the four wheeler and alerting neighbors. I took her around the block and we knocked on doors and looked in barns and meadows. Still no Ginger! Dave plans to drive her around again tonight. I did dial 911 to ask if anybody reported anything but nobody did so far!? She is so sad and she don't go to the barn to do her after school chores anymore because it makes her to sad. For now I'm feeding the chickens...:) We pray everyday for her to come home...:)

Running happens most days but location is being mixed up... If you go around your block for runs for years it feels like I will throw up if I see that stretch of again!...:) For now I'm driving away elsewhere once the kids get on the bus. I like rolling turf so its often somewhere with some hills... just being away from the block makes it feel more fresh and doable...:) I never go far in the car before I park and run, the colors right now make almost anywhere a lovely choice...

Three-five miles is my comfortable mileage and also my time frame right now... It almost always a good day when getting in a four mile run by eight thirty in the morning!

Archery season is over here and we came up dry this season. Jordan was faithful but it seems those deer know just when to come out and by the time he saw them coming out to feed it was to dark to see what they were and shoot! Dave or I take him and his spotlight for a drive every single night right now and we often see deer and some really nice bucks sometimes to! We are excited to see what rifle season will bring at the cabin this year!

Lynn took pictures of Justin and Eva the other week... I think they are adorable!

They seem to be getting to know each other better as time moves along... He works much of his life right now (busy season at Stoltzfus!!)  but when he is not working its Eva he likes to be with the most... If he gets an early day for any reason you can bet he will be making that drive to see her in Franklin but most times he waits to see her until the weekends... What is driving two hours to spend an hour then drive the two hours back when you really just love to be with someone!?? .... No it's not that bad :) but the distance seems like nothing to him if it means seeing her...

Life with Justin dating is different. We now share him. He now loves someone more then us. He now spends more quality time with someone other. It has it's challenges, we feel totally clueless...  yet it stretches us as a family, a parent and for Dave and I as a couple as well. I don't think you will ever wake up one day and feel like your child is really ready to date... especially not so young. But I was young to and I never regretted a minute spent with the man I loved.

Just the other day this huge pink teddy bear arrived at the front door!! We just grinned knowing it was for Eva...:)

Challenging yes. God's plan? We pray daily for this couple as they seek it out and get to know each other through this time of dating. We love Justin so much and because of this we embrace these changes with grace.

Thanks for being patient with us Eva Jane as we figure all this out...;)

It a chili and baked potato bar for supper and I want to make a pumpkin dessert so I'm off... I guess I'll work on these fun pictures another day!...~sigh~ #comebemycomputerpersonplease!

These two are my best friends and I thank God for them everyday! They have the most adorable kiddos ever to!! I can't wait to share some of those adorable faces with you here!...:)

Yesterday we did some Christmas shopping!! Mom, sisters and I... It was my first time ever at a "Hobby Lobby" and I actually loved it even though I'm not a decorator. Last year being away right after Christmas for the winter had me skipping the Christmas decorating but Hobby Lobby sparked it again this year and with us gone only a few short weeks I bought and already put up some Christmas décor!! I know, I KNOW its not even Thanksgiving yet but if you know me and my decorating skills it better be a catch it while the mood strikes type of thing and that happened to be yesterday!!

Javon was loving it as we put up the Christmas stuff!

The Holiday season has us excited as we shop, bake, decorate and anticipate time with family and friends... Let us remember to breath through it and remember the true meaning behind these seasons!

Have a BLESSED day!
