It is a BLUSTERY DAY!
The kids have no school today and being indoors all day is sounding awesome and perfect for this blustery day!
The heat struggles to keep up but we are so thankful for what we do have!! We snuggle in blankets and drink hot drinks to get warmer still...
Check out the cold temps and the wind today!!
Justin.... An update on him and his baptism day here...:)
He was baptized yesterday. It was so special.
Grandparents, Danny and Rachel Ann and a handful of Justin's closest friends came to witness...
Dave and I both noticed so much growth in Justin in the past six months!
We are so thankful for the choices he has been making.
He is fun, pleasant and present here at home when he is here. We all enjoy him so much!
He laughs more. The sparkle is in his eyes. (you know that Jesus sparkle:))
Dave loves when he and Eva play Aquire with him and Jordan!! They set the table up now and then for a game...:)
Justin takes his brothers places and he loves spending time with them. They love his attention!
He is working hard at establishing his own shed hauling business. He hopes to be up and running with it by Spring.
I hear him ask his dad all sorts of questions about money, taxes, loans and business.
Dave is a great teacher. Justin is so blessed to have him. (I think he is the best!)
He is currently buying a new shed hauling truck, trailer and a mule... (the machine that carries the sheds across the yards) to start delivering the sheds. (he had been prefab constructing them the last few years with his crew)
His black dodge he used for prefabbing is being sold to Stoltzfus and his new shed hauling dodge is coming up from Georgia this week. He made arrangements for Cindy to fly down to drive it home. It will take a few weeks to get it set up for what he will be using it for but he is so excited to be more independant and on his own! On the road with the bigger sheds! Oh my...
Justin drives around in Dave's little truck to get around when he is not working. It is currently "Justin's truck". He has saved up some for a car and that's all happening soon to. He is car shopping now.
He is responsible, self motivated and self disciplined.
He reads books.
He has found a love for fitness, he likes and knows that he feels best on healthy food.
We are still cooking tons of meat and vegetables each week for his meals...
We freeze bananas for his protein shakes! He drinks a few a day right now.
He still LOVES and spends time with his girl!...:) We LOVE her to!
It feels so great to not be on pins and needles when he is out late anymore. I get more sleep at night now. (as I think back on his 16 year old days and when he first got his licence I remember the concern, the restless sleep. The unresponsive phone after I'd try to contact him. The "What if? thoughts" I remember often hearing the driveway buzzer when half asleep and just breathing so much more peacefully just knowing he was home! I often THANKED God before going into a more peaceful sleep) It still feels good to lock the door at night knowing we are all under one roof but if he is out for any reason I still go to bed and sleep soundly. I rarely hear him late at night anymore. I'm so thankful because that wasn't the best of stages for me...:) I think we both grew up a lot...:)
We are so thankful God has been working in his heart!!
Dad and I are so proud of you Justin!

Javon is working on his January book report project... He is doing a "Sea Creature" A-B-C Book. He kind of stresses about school and these demanding projects but lucky for him we found some creative sea creature stuff and my Creative Memory stash came in handy once again... The Little's don't remember those "Creative Memory" days to much so when I get this type of stuff out and help them get creative they seem amazed that I have it in me...:) A stop at A.C. Moore Crafts, scissors, glue and lots of print outs (his dad helped with this!) he got it almost wrapped up...:)
Jenika and her creative kitchen streak...
She is often in the kitchen creating something... (making messes to) Oh but we LOVE to taste all her yummys! And she is doing great with clean up and laundry to! She can now do laundry start to finish all on her own and let me just tell you... "It is GRAND!"
I can't wait to drink more coffee tonight... with my girlfriends! We are having a coffee date together and it will be great to catch up with them!
For today we are indoors listening to the wind rattle the windows... Stay Warm!!
