A very sunny, chilly winter Tuesday afternoon post...
The tower has popped and we are back to yummy daily salads this week...:)
I cannot say enough of good things about the tower garden!!
It has been a gift of "whole food" like no other!
The taste of these greens have made us salad snobs...:)
Runs happen everyday... About 3-4 miles. These winter runs are fresh and great but we look forward to warm spring breezes and some color soon!
Since my last post Justin has gotten his new car!!
I think it looks like such a great car and it fits him so well!
He has taken over the driveway...
This is the last week that he will be working with his black dodge... He will be starting his shed hauling journey with his new truck after his Florida vacation.
We had a beautiful, very warm sunny day tucked into our very cold winter days... It was so refreshing to have temps at 60 degrees and we soaked it up all day long!
The winter projects are ongoing here... We work at it when we can and its making the winter days fly by because we always have these projects staring us in the face..:)
No puzzles this winter around here!...:)
This week the garage got a makeover... The floor got a sealant which will be awesome to keep clean!! The walls, trim and doors looked terrible against the new floor so we set about giving everything a new paint job... Justin rearranged the shelves so he can pull his car into the garage if he wants to...
Indoors the projects are still ongoing to... I have put up window curtains and have been redecorating some as we go... The flooring is done.
The first of the new furniture is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. (if the snow don't interfere) It will be great to have new furniture in its place!
I really love all the live plants and they do well here so I'm dreaming of filling the main floor all up with live plants...:) I have more time and interest to re pot the plants as they grow and the natural sun here seems to have them grow up in leaps!
"Guess Who?" in the nook with these two last night... Its always a real party...:)
We are excited about less screen time and more time outdoors! Bring on suntans and warm summer days! These two are kind of winter weary...:)
Dave was in Dallas over last weekend... It was all about "Syndication"
Secrets of Successful Syndication happened in Dallas.
I used to hear this word and not know the meaning or even how to spell it but we know the meaning now for sure...
Dave has become part of the faculty at these Real Estate Guys events.
He loves what he does and he is so very good at it... He captivates his audience! I LOVE and never get tired of hearing him speak!
I think he is always the best speaker in the house...:)
Check it out... He has the floor....
He was on a Q&A panel ...
He loves these events and he likes to travel. He goes to so many different places every year. He is great at keeping these events as short as possible for us here at home... He left for Dallas Friday morning and he was back home again by Saturday night.
This is one of his favorite lines...:)
Teaching Tax has become something Dave does more and more of. He is passionate about it. He knows the ins and outs of taxes and his education pays off for him and for those around him over and over again! He loves to teach it.
I'm not sure where his next speaking engagement will take him... He is still highly educating himself and teaching all he knows to others... He loves to speak about what works for him. It makes for a busy life and so much reading but he has prioritized well this past year! He invests in us everyday and for that we are so very thankful! I hear the big boys ask him the hard questions about all things adult life brings and I'm so thankful for the wonderful leader that God has placed in our home!
Are the traveling requirements, the financial education and the time investment that goes along with all this and all things "Syndication" always easy?
No.
BUT... we are so THANKFUL that Dave loves what he does. We are THANKFUL for all the great people we have been blessed to meet and interact with because of this thing called "Syndication"! We have challenges yes but every profession will have some of that. Dave's line goes like this "If it was easy everyone would be doing it!"...:) This goes for lots of things in life... The "Hard" stuff is always tough, challenging and hard to walk through but God requires hard stuff and Jesus is our ultimate example.... If we are faithful in the little things it will be worth it
Our testimony is full of "God's Grace" and "Abundant Blessings".
We do not deserve... we are better then we deserve here today...We are THANKFUL for home, health, family, community and many other everyday BLESSINGS I wouldn't even be able to name them all so I'm off for today....:) "my winter pep talk to myself"...:)
Have a FUN WINTER FUN DAY tomorrow.. We got more SNOW COMING our way!!
Yay for WINTER SNOW FUN!!
#bringusspringsoon!
