I don't know how or why it suddenly happened so fast but this mornings run was windy and felt like zero below temps!!
Sun is here though so we are BLESSED!!...
Living here is so beautiful and even though we long for warmer days we take what God sends us and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us daily!
We get out in almost any weather here at our house and I'm often thankful to be outdoor lovers even in the cold but seriously this morning had us rushing back inside after our few mile run and bending forward to block our faces from the wind... It was so bad that we actually laughed about it!...:)
Yup the garden greens freeze once again and the chickens water freezes once again to! One day soon it will surely get warm and stay warm! It is March after all. BUT... We watch a winter storm coming our way possibly hitting us early next week. My Little's are thrilled about it and they hope it snows pile upon pile! We can't find enough of matching snow gloves anymore and the snow boots are to small! It is time for summer and bare feet already!
Papa had birthday number 70 yesterday! We enjoyed a wonderful catered meal with the Zook family last night! Couples only. Candle light. Fancy food. Great family catch up... It was decided that we like seventieth birthdays!...:)
Look who is still in Florida on this cold day!...
Four generations... Mommy D is enjoying a winter in Florida. I'm so glad she can be away from this cold! This is the first winter to be in Florida without her beloved (Daudy D) and I'm sure she misses him in so many ways down there!
The whole crew went out for breakfast before Justin and Eva start home. They just left and we can't wait to have them back! Allen and Lynn leave soon to and mom and dad make it back early next week just in time for our winter blast we have coming!...
Hurry back guys we'd hate for you to miss out on the snow!
Lots of Kombucha was bottled and made again this week!
I have many nice looking starter cultures here up for grabs so if you want to make Kombucha Tea I'll help you get started!
Jessica (living with us) even likes it and so we now have another tea drinker in the house!...:) She is a real picky eater and don't go for healthy... I hope to change this...:) If she likes this tea she will surely like more healthy foods!?
