Jordan Graduates from Eighth Grade!!

Great things happened from preschool all the way up to the eighth grade... yet we know God has greater things still to be done through this class of 2017!!

Jordan is done with middle school!! He is excited to call himself a "Freshman" and to be moving on to high school with his class. This morning he is sleeping here at home after an all night class party at Jenna's house and then on to Hunter's house where the guys slept. (only a very few hours!)

Last night was his graduation. It was a rewarding evening celebrating with these eighth graders.

My mom and dad came here for supper then they went with us to graduation.

We are so proud of you Jordan for completing this leg of your earthly journey!

The class all had to write a 500 word graduation speech. This took place last week. Jordan stresses a bit with this stuff...:) I knew he stayed up late one night and woke early one morning to work on his speech but I never saw anything of it. I didn't know if I ever would hear it...:) Four out of this class were chosen to read their speech at graduation and he was one of them!!

It was so good! Thankfully Dave recorded it because Jordan claims he tossed his copy...:)

He talked about how it was to transition to Linville Hill half way through sixth grade. There were only three boys in the class at that time so you can imagine how happy they were to welcome another boy! They made Jordan feel like he had always been there from the start and he shared his appreciation to the class for this.

I hope to copy his speech on here on this post once I get it written out...:)

The yearbook describes Jordan as "the class jokester with a contaigious laugh" and this picture says it all I think!...:) (if you don't laugh at his joke you can't help but laugh at his giggle!:})

This class is such a BLAST to be around and the guys are very close knit which makes these school years priceless!

Jordan always thought it would be fun to wear suspenders and when he fit them on here at home he was trying to shoot/snap stuff with them! He said "Hey I always wanted to do that!"...:)

He is so good to his younger siblings!! He has so much patience and we LOVE him for it!!

I have no idea how this all happened so fast... Some days I'm still feeling way back here Jordan...!!

This young man just loves life to the absolute fullest.

He is so happy and such a joy to have around.

If Jordan is grumpy we write it down because it so rarely happens!

 He loves the outdoors!

He was beyond thrilled when Dave told him he will take him on a three day guided Fall turkey hunt with Ronnie Smith!

His favorite place to be is probably fishing in Potter County with his grandfather and his cousin Mark. The next best is Belize adventures...:)

The Steel plate business Jordan has going on here at home is where he makes his own money to pay for his phone service, deer mounts, baseball bats and all the other hobby things he likes that take money...:) He is good with his money and he doesn't like to spend it unless he positively has to... He has already done his fair share of investing it to... (chip off the old block on this one... figure out how to make your money work for you...:) It's great to watch him connect the financial dots...:)

He has had health challenges over the years. Mostly the first eight years of his life. He is healthy now and we never take his health for granted. Food sensitivities is something that we worked with for the past years and this has helped his health in more ways then we will ever know! Now he recognizes how his body works and he knows what makes it thrive or what makes it feel sluggish. I'm so proud of him for choosing healthier options and real whole foods 80% of the time!

His infusion of antibody cells have become a way of life for us. Once a week we do needles. He does much of this himself now. He thanks me when I remove his needles for him and we pack it up for another week. As long as he gets this he has stayed free from any illness. We are sure his body is capable of healing itself if given the proper tools to do so... for now we thank God for his replacement therapy first off then we keep an open mind, continue to research and pray for complete healing. Some days I feel confident about taking him off of this infusion and the next day it feels scary to even think about it. I do believe with a strict whole food diet, proper nutrients and a tropical germ free island somewhere it could be done!...:) Ha-ha.... WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE SO WE CHOSE TO SAY "GREATER THINGS ARE STILL TO BE DONE"!!

Congratulations to the Linville Hill Class of 2017!!

We are so proud of you Jordan and we can't wait to see what God will do in your life moving forward!

The sun is shining and it is warmer!! My yard is turning into a hay field as I type so I'm off to do what I was aching to do the last few days already... Mow the lawn!!

Have BLESSED DAY!!

ps. We have more peeps hatching today and they are so addicting to watch!
