Belize Today...

Lunch pool side is a common sight around here these days...:)

We still like this beach... The pool at MBV is great but we still find ourselves back at the beach. The Little's entertain each other for hours here!!

Dave and Justin have been going out for three hour kite surf lessons! It is so there thing and they enjoy each lesson very much! Jordan went along today just to hangout on the boat. Tonight he is full of stories that the boat driver was telling him today!!

Just like old times we found ourselves at the "Truck Stop" yesterday after church for the corn hole tournament that goes on there every Sunday. Dave and Justin made it to the finals but didn't play well enough to win it all. They still got a free ice cream...

This is our car for the time being. It feels like "home" here yet much changes in a year.

Today we have the pool here at MBV alone. We have many friends coming down soon and the field trip groups will be here soon to so this place is about to get busier. For now it is still not open and we can enjoy being among the first few to enjoy the quietness of the pool and Great House. I'm thinking by next year things will be so busy in the Great House there is no way we would be doing school in there!..:)

Dave does great hanging out with Justin in the morning all the while trying to get work done then hanging out with the rest of us after school. He is not as busy as last year yet he still has his office hours during the day.
These two are best of friends and if one were without the other they would most likely get real bored here. They entertain each other so well!

Jordan is becoming a pro at throwing this casting net!! He can catch piles of sardines in this thing at once and then he uses them for bait to fish for bigger things with his rod. He just loves to fish!! Even if he rarely catches anything big enough to keep!...:) Him and Javon leave the house most every morning at six thirty for the docks. They fish until eight o'clock and we have breakfast and school with Ally starts at nine o'clock.

Breakfast is from the Taco Shack most every morning. It feels nice not to be doing so much grocery shopping this year. The one morning we made breakfast ended up chaotic as we tried to make the best of a "very limited" kitchen. Then when Dave knocked over a glass of lime juice, (breaking the glass) the toast burnt twice under the broiler and I had about two hours of cleanup without dish soap and a scrubby for the pan... we decided the Taco Shack it will be for awhile!...:)

The sky here is always so beautiful! The days are true blue and so very warm with a breeze. I never want to forget what it feels like to come to a tropical place like this during the harsh winter months at home. The kids tans make them look so healthy. Jordan's cough and the pounding he had in his ear all went away in just a few days. We keep windows open during the day to enjoy the breeze (plus we are out of the house all day) then at night we run the air conditioners.

I will keep posting pictures as it seems to be the best way to share our time here...

Good-Night from our LOVELY Belize island.

ps. If you ever get a chance please visit here!! It truly is a paradise every single day!
