Last night Dave was away and when nobody is here to stop me I just go and go late into the night with my yard and house work!
I love a pile of wood chips to work with!! The strawberries and garden gets a fresh layer now and then. The row of lilies that just started blooming need a new layer to!
The rain showers were so light and as soon as I put my garden tools down to move indoors in would stop raining so I finally just took a hood jacket to put on when the showers came and continued working and it was worth it because this beauty came out to bless me while I was in the garden!
Javon ran for the camera and Jenika came rushing out of the shower to see this pretty rainbow!
Dave sent me some lovely pictures from his place in Texas! It looks lovely there to but I bet it is a lot warmer there!
His meeting was this morning and he expects to be back late tonight. I wish I could jump a ride with him on these trips and someday I hope to but here we enjoy the first day of summer break and our day started later!
I'm off to get the kids lunch... Javon has Derek here today and the golf cart is going nonstop! Its so funny when other kids come all they wanna do is drive and ride the golf cart all over the place and Javon is like "where are we going and like why are we just riding around!?" He seems bored of riding and sometimes he comes in to the couch while Derek rides on by himself...lol! (he has no idea how fun a golf really is to drive around on a large property!)
The day is sunny and lovely!!
