Fresh Starts...

Fresh week/ Fresh year/ Fresh starts/ fresh pages to my journal and devotional books. What does God have for us in 2013? Last week was a fresh start for us here. I cleaned out closets did lots of organizing and just cleaning out corners around here.

Jenika went back to school on Friday and was looking forward to it very much! Justin is stepping up the level of his quizzing. Jordan is well again and was himself again only hours after I brought him home from school early on Wednesday. Javon is still as lovable as ever...:)

We are now down to chiropractoring only twice a week! We were so ready to cut back our evenings at the chiropractor! It is helping us all though and we are glad to be seeing results. Dave and I are running more miles again. It feels good to be getting back to the gym and more miles on the road. The boys went out with me one evening this week to. Jordan started out and did two miles then he cut in the school trail and Justin met me at the winery trail to finish the block. He got almost two miles to. I got four and a half in that afternoon. (alittle slower but fun)

Yesterday we spent a few hours at a local indoor pool! The kids LOVED it! I love to keep them busy on Saturdays, we often make that a library day or we find something to do that we can all enjoy together. It's often a day when daddy is around more to...:) I try not to have to many house chores left for Saturdays for this reason. Leanna had a birthday and we always celebrate her birthday with Javon and Micah's but this was still her special day so we all made a fun day out of "letting her know she was the special birthday girl today"! Happy Birthday Leanna!!

Dave and I got a good run then Jen and I made some mini cupcakes to share for Leanna's birthday. We did not really have a good spot to eat these though because there was "No Eating" around the pool. We ate them at a table in the lobby on the way out then. The kids were all tired when we left!

The room was very warm with the water temperature a little colder. It was perfect to be indoors swimming on a very cold January day!! We always enjoy swimming in the winter when we get the chance...:) The smell in the room gets to me after awhile though and burns the eyes and throat!
Jenika was not tall enough to slide on her own so she got me on the water slide! I liked it almost as much as she!

She looks almost to tired to even enjoy her cupcake...:) It was a fun few hours! I love days like this when my sisters and I randomly take the kids for an adventure...:) They love to be together and Mom, Marilyn, Kath and I got some really good talks in "poolside"! Dad must have liked how we looked sitting there chatting because he was snapping pictures of us...;) We let him watch the kids:) They had him busy sliding to!

My Grandma Beiler was alone as Uncle Gids were out with friends for the day so after I had the kids comfortable and stuffed with food I packed up some cookie ingredients and went to spend the rest of the day with her. (Dave was here with the kids) She was on the chair with a blanket and felt kinda sick but I went about making cookies and doing my thing anyway. Mom was there to and Mummy soon perked up. After the cookies were done we played a card game until 10 o'clock! Gid's were not back till midnight so Uncle Sam came to be with her until they got home. I took Mom home and came home to my family. Was tired but it was a good day.

The kids were all still up except Jen! They had watched a movie and played "Dutch Blitz" With Daddy! They had a fun evening from what I heard! Thanks Hon!

Today was church and a relax day here! We enjoyed a relaxing nap, a walk. Danny and Rachel Ann dropped in on us in the evening...:)

Dentist appointments this week... "pray for the drama queen!"
