Rain is here today! We are having normal later winter weather! Sloppy and wet...;) It is great to see the sun some days but it's nothing new to have overcast and wet weather here right now! This means spring is only around the corner! :) We are almost there!...:)
We of course have wedding on our minds this week! The plan is to get into the church this afternoon to begin the decorating and set up...:) My Little's will spend the afternoon at my sister Marilyn to hang out with Micah while I go help at the church. Both Marilyn's and I swapped kids yesterday. I took Javon to Jonathan's Marilyn while I exchanged pants and finished up my shopping. I came back and brought Hannah along home with me so Marilyn could go and finish her shopping also...:) Sister Marilyn had Micah at CHOP yesterday for a check up and adjusted his ear piece a tad and her two older boys were hanging with us for a few afternoon hours to...:) Today she has my Little's...:) I love having family close...~!:)
My freezer~!! Remember my ever so full freezer? It gave out on Saturday!! It started with an alarm beeping indicating the temp was to warm! It beeped all week-end! Dave called the service but they did not make it out before Monday! The stuff stayed frozen beings it was so full and we were not opening it much. We have warranty on the freezer but the paper work will take time so they brought us a smaller borrowed freezer for now! I had to squeeze things into the smaller freezers and I packed out the borrowed one! It was work but I kept reminding myself how very blessed we are with all the freezer stuff!
I sewed my dress for the wedding yesterday (last minute I know!) and I ironed tons of clothes! I think we now have all the outfits complete! This was a chore for some reason!~ I think it was the beach theme she is having. Tan and white. Jenika will be going down the aisle barefoot so no need to get her new shoes but I still have to think her toes will be freezing! Her dress is sleeveless to! I'm thinking she will have a long day but I'm sure she will enjoy it! I will be behind her with her shoes and her sweater!:)
I'm enjoying my Little's here this morning! They like to hear me tell stories of things I did when I was a child! One conversation this morning went like this... Jenika- I want to play on your phone! Me- No
Jenika- (in a pouty voice!) You probably played on phones all the time when you were my age! Me- No way we had no cell phones to play on back then! Jenika- What?? How did you call people? I told her we had to use a phone out in the old phone shanny and it had a cord so we could not walk far away from the shanny! I once had my car give out and had to knock on someones door to use the phone! She was amazed! I told her more stories of how we used to play baby doll! She does not EVER play with dolls! She is now dressing her American doll and had me do her hair...:) My stories brought about some inspiration I think...:)
We made some more homemade bird feed and filled all the feeders again to. I will be ready to put the feeder's away though! They are making a real mess out of my back porch and the cat got smart and has taken to sitting on the porch table where the birds come into feed! We keep chasing her off but she seems determined to get her paws on these pretty birds!
