Runs are not an option for me right now!... Maybe by the end of the week the twenties will feel warm then we will possibly run again...:) I think we just get tough after awhile. Or maybe numb! We are so thankful for the warm house today and we are praying for those working outdoors this time of year! Brother Allen and Smoky in particular...:)
We have a winter school break at one of our three schools. Friday and today are days off for my Linville Hill students. Jordan and Javon entertain each other so well I hardly even realize they are here. Yea I do because I hear the laughter the create all day long. These two are the jolly ones in the family and they are both so easy going. They play many games of UNO! They play hunter and shoot each other with soft air guns. Jordan has some school work he is working on so sometimes Javon just sit quietly on the couch beside him with Jordan's phone while Jordan works on the laptop but either way they are side by side all day long!!
They were so helpful and juiced oranges... Now we have a gallon of fresh squeezed juice for the week!...

| Seriously in need of some sun on this skin!! Could they get any whiter!? |
Dave made it back from Belize. They had a great time and the weather was perfect for them! Yes he has a tan...:) We are so enjoying having him back here with us once again!
Jordan is doing well. His winter appointment is scheduled down at CHOP. He does his lab work on his next infusion day so we hope to have the results to go over them with his chop Doctor. We are praying for awesome results! Please join us!
He used to have such rough winters!! We are so thankful for his monthly infusions! He used to be sick every few weeks and spent most of the winter on antibiotics! We are beyond blessed to have found something that works to help keep him well. Food is healing and the diet change along with the infusions and also of course the "ultimate" healer of healers (God) we are so thankful that Jordan is thriving and full of energy!
We did a fun Valentine date night with our great group of friends! It was the perfect setting!! We had a really hard time finding a classy place that would take our group of twelve on valentines evening! We were about ready to settle for Pizza Hut until Lori found something at Ichiban that would take us. We were never there but apparently Mike wasn't just thrilled with these arrangements so he pulled some strings behind the scenes for us! He has some connection to the owner of "Cork and Cap" in Lancaster. (We had tried for reservation here but they were all full)
The owner made a few phone calls and had a room arranged just for our group!! It could not have been more perfect!! The room was ours alone with soft "Love" music playing! We spent a few hours over wonderful food and the best fellowship while the snow was coming down and blowing around like crazy!! We made it home okay but it was pretty nasty out! I'm still not sure why I didn't get somebody to take a picture of me and my valentine but here is one of us ladies to prove that we were together...:) Phone pictures are not the best but they do work and it keeps me from dragging my camera around so much...:)
I'm so BLESSED to have these friendships! We laugh and talk about anything under the sun! Every woman needs great girlfriends!! Thanks for the fun night guys! The way we came together was a God thing and we will always share a heart to heart connection no matter where life takes us. We don't see each other as much as we used to but when we do we can always pick up where we left off and I love this about this group of friends. We are all making new friends in our now different walks of life but it's great to always come back and connect again!
Dave and I have a date night scheduled for tomorrow evening. Maybe I can get a valentine picture then. Our youth are doing a meal and movie night fundraiser and we are looking forward to it!
I'm off to get the kiddo's at school... Keep warm!!
