Today was a snow day for the three boys. We were happy to see the few inches of white powdery snow this morning! It was sparkling so beautifully in the bright beautiful sunshine! Jenika had a two hour delay so we all got to sleep a bit longer then normal...:)
The boys tried to sled first thing this morning but the snow is so powdery they really didn't get anywhere. Ice skating goes better and they are doing so much of that that I think they are getting burned out. At least Justin seems to be...:)
Today I cleaned lots of blinds!! At the old house I had those cheap blinds that I used to just replace when they got to dirty but here in this house we have tons of custom blinds. They still get dirty but they were to expensive to replace so we wipe and wipe!! Piece by piece! Only Rachel Ann and I know what a pain the blinds can be but I tackled them today. The windows also got a cleaning. The ones in the sun cleaned so nicely and the ones on the north side out of the sun just froze over... "The Sun Makes ALL The Difference" when cleaning windows in this frigid weather!
"The Sun Makes ALL The Difference" for these Little's!! They still love it outside and when the sun is shining it just don't feel as cold... This fish pond is a year round hot spot for these two! They love the heater hole to slop in!
When running in the winter time "The Sun Makes ALL The Difference"! It felt great to get this six mile run after giving running a break for a few days! The boys were entertaining each other so I slipped out for a run. I was shooting for four miles but when Marilyn texted and told me she would pick up the school girls today I got a few more miles in... Thanks Marilyn!
The sun was again so lovely and I was shedding the layers about a mile into the run!...
Winter time running is fun to....:)
Tomorrow is Food Sensitivity support group meet up day. Here at my house. You are welcome to join in!! Linda will be bringing bean "Jordan" bread so if you would like to try some tomorrow will be a good day for it, come around ten o'clock. I'm not sure on a Jordan friendly snack yet. We are out this evening but maybe I can get Jordan to prepare us something.?
