Virus is Still Here! Terrian With the BEST Friends...:)

Javon is at home again today! He has what Jenika had last week.

He was off of school last Friday and struggled all weekend with fevers and throwing up. He has the same mouth sores inside and out like Jenika had. Hers are still healing and eating is still not plesant for her. We eat soft foods and make smoothies everyday.

This morning I was determined he was going to get back into his classroom today! We started a bath with oils and he got in to soak early. Early enough to give him plenty of time to wake up slowly and "get well"...:)

He was soaking up there while I packed lunches then all of the sudden I heard him throwing up once again. He really has nothing in his stomach so he just ends up dry heaving but just like that I told him "finish your bath and go back to bed!" He ends up on the couch but soon he is up and seeming fine. (other then a sore mouth)

Today I did get him out a bit and we made a quick stop at Jordan's school and then we went to see what the fuss is all about at the new Strasburg Market Place. It was a fun experience to see the new grocery store with a freshly made donut stand inside and even a real cool new "Latte Luv" coffee shop! If you get to Strasburg in Lancaster County be sure to check it out!

We did not get a coffee drink at the new Latte Luv but we picked up some great looking prepared chicken and some donut bites. We even got to see some family there!! We ran into two of my sis in laws and a few of the adorable kiddos they love on everyday all day...:) Javon kept his distance...:)

We really hope this sickness we have goes away for good real real soon!! I don't feel like I'm getting to much accomplished around here. Plus its been so rainy again! Day after Day.

We hosted the youth last weekend but not here on our property. It was raining so much so we made arrangements and got a big gym about five minutes from us. Dave has great connections and it comes in handy so often...:) When his pilot/business friend told us we could use his large gym for this youth party we jumped right on it and began lugging all our food and stuff over there.

The Little's were here at the house alone on our youth party night because they were both still not feeling the best, Jenika was a bit better and she said she'd take good care of Javon while we are out hosting the youth...:) They only called me once and I talked to them on the phone and then later I came home to be with them for a bit. They are seriously struggling and they don't want to get far away from the couch!

Yesterday after many housebound days I finally did get a fun day out!

I wasn't sure what for arrangements to make because I knew Javon was not well enough to go to school and I wasn't going to put him anywhere with what he has!

I left a message with Sue about switching her cleaning day so she could be here with him and I asked my mom to come be with him to. Neither one of those worked out and I wasn't sure what I was going to do.

I woke Jordan for school and he was stuffy and made tea for himself because his throat hurt. It seemed he might be coming down with something so I kept him home with Javon!

They played games and did homework. Javon had a stack and Jordan helped him. He did last weeks spelling words and Bible Memory testing with him. He made him food and I had no doubt Javon would be in the best care. (Jordan is just like that)

I was out all day and I only got one text from them and that was when I asked how things were going. :)

My friends spoiled me all day long! Turning 40 has its fun benefits...:)

We started the day at the new Terrain Gardens Cafe and Garden Center!

The food is always real interesting here and the flowers and decor so pretty to fuss over!

It was a full day of browsing shops and an Old Navy Shopping spree was fun with coupons I had from the school shopping done a few months back...:)

This time I shopped more for myself although I always pick up something for somebody else to.

We did a fun Mexican meal on the way back home and when I got home here I had a messy kitchen and lunches to pack for the next day but my family does just fine when I'm out.

Dave and I went to a viewing. (Davy Glick)

These lovely Ladies are very special to me and they made me feel special yesterday!

They paid my lunch and even got me my own unique dessert. The "Honeysuckle" soap made my day! (They all know how I love honeysuckle!:)) The long sleeve cool weather shirt that I picked out at Francesca's got paid for and I cannot wait to wear it! The fun "Bell" gift has a fun story behind it and we laughed and laughed! We always have so much to talk about and the time out with these ladies was so refreshing!

I love that we know each others kids and we hear and share the rewards and challenges of motherhood.

We always talk about school because we all go to the same school except Marlene's kiddos and she then also shares about her school and we of course talked about this precious baby boy that is to be born and joining the Lapp family next month! Adoption is what the Lapp family was called to do and we are so excited to meet this blessed baby boy!

It feels like I'm a home school mom these days and I read out loud more then I read silent. I wonder how the home school moms get much else done and I bless you if you home school your children! For two weeks I have had a school child at home and it just does not seem right. They miss their friends most of all...:)

It looks like it dried off a little so I'm off to take the opportunity to mow the grass before the next rains come!
