Our High Schooler!!...
Wow time sure does fly by! Seems like I was just starting him in Preschool not to long ago!! Wishing you the best as you adjust to this new normal Justin! School has always been fun for you... Make this a great year and shine that light for Jesus as you start this new step in life! Love you!
As of the other kids at home yesterday, they enjoyed the last day of "No School" to the fullest!! The favorite next door cousins came back from vacation and my Jen could hardly get enough of them! I missed them a lot to but I didn't really miss the "Asking" part of it! Asking if I may go to the girls?? or if the girls may come down?? or if I may call the girls?? or meet the girls at the climbing tree?? and on and on...:) Yes they love to be together and I love that they can be!!... Blessed to have friends and cousins next door!!
Today these two went to school...
Jenika was so excited to return for the recess but the school work stresses her out until she gets used to it...:) She came home today and said the things that she was good at when school got over she forgets! She said "I didn't even know how to make a ten o'clock on the clocks!..:) Time to get back to learning and less partying for sure!
Jordan goes into sixth grade "Middle School"...
Make this a great year Jordan!! I will so miss you here at home in more ways then one!! Especially in the kitchen!...:) For now I'm back on full time duty. I will miss you tons!! Shine for Jesus as you journey through sixth grade! Love You!!
His diet of "No Meat" ends after tomorrow. He has been doing great on this other then on Sunday when he was really low. He had a fever and a headache and was just weak. I made him an amazingly nutritious dish with lots of value in it and he soon perked up again. Pray for his nose bleeds though. We are thinking these are related to his antibody level. We might have to make a visit to CHOP soon.
Jenika goes into second grade...
This girl loves school for the social part of it more then anything!! As I remember her school pictures from last year she had a burn mark on her cheek. Well here with her, it is always something!! She fell into the briers and got scratched by Oreo the cat the other day so today she had to have scratches on her face for her first day of school!...:) I think she is adorable anyway...:) It's just HER!

Tomorrow is baby's turn for Kindergarten!! I will have an emotional morning...:) He is going to be doing a three day a week program!! This was a last minute decision to send him to a different school then his siblings and I'll share more on it later...:) This means three differnet schools for us this year!! Oh Boy!... We are excited anyway!...:)
My morning this morning was CRAZY!! I was stressed out until each child was off!! I forget I can't do a run so late in the morning and still be on time with meeting the kids in the kitchen for breakfast! I felt so bad that I had to rush them so much but we will get back into it, it just takes me some time...:) I forget breakfast, lunches, hair combing, water bottles and more just takes so much time, and time that we don't have when every minute counts!! Sorry guys!!
Today after school we rushed through lunch to meet my sisters at the pool!! One last time!! James had a birthday and it took some coaxing from my sisters to get me there but we did it. We went. The kids loved it! I loved to catch up with Mom and sisters again but I was again reminded why we don't do this to often... All day the kids want to eat. Freeze pops and Popsicles and Ice Cream Sandwiches and all the other junk that is available at these places! My kids are crazy about this stuff at places like this!! Why??? Will they ever outgrow this!!?? I'm praying that they will because it stresses me out!!...:)

I snapped this picture then I looked and looked through my lens again!! I had my long lens so it was easier to see through the lens but yes that is one of his major nose bleeds taking place on here!! I ran for towels right after snapping this!! I think at times he is going to be losing some of his brains!!... This is not okay! We are looking into this.
Happy Birthday to you James!! Eight years old!! You are growing up so fast!
This week is flying by!! We are trying to be okay with saying good bye to our Summer! It's not always easy but we will be okay. I just love summer and especially a lovely summer like this one!! The leaves on the driveway are telling me another season is approaching us weather we like it or not so we might as well embrace it with grace...:)
Gluten gathering in the making here... I'm looking at September 10th. We have a few things coming up yet so this will most likely be the first gathering here. We are moving from one cabin to the next this weekend!! We are so excited and I will share lots of pictures on here as we go... Many family members will be helping so this will be a happening weekend for the Zook Family Cabin!!
