Cake Recipe/Support Group Tomorrow...

Today is "Jordan Friendly" soup canning day. I was up at midnight putting meat in the oven so it will be ready to get an early start this morning. Only took a few minutes and I was back to bed again...:) I will let you know how it turns out...:)

My life is crazy these days!!  Oh well I'm only as busy as I make myself out to be... It is fun to be busy if I'm okay with it and I  just try to remember to take deep breaths now and then and squeeze time in to get a good hard run in every once in a while...:) This helps a ton with the cobwebs that like to clog my brain some days!! Health is Wealth and I feel so blessed to be able to just go and go all day long with enough of energy to make it to the end of the day, even if I am dead on my feet some of these days by the time I hit the pillow at night...:) Life in Lancaster County is just "Fast Paced" We just can't seem to be able to get away from it! (At least I can't seem to...:}) Once I leave this place for a few days I look at things from the outside world (in on Lancaster County) and I declare I will never get wrapped up in that "Rat Race" again!! But I do every time! I tell myself it's a "Blessed Rat Race" just to convince myself it's okay to be this busy...:)

Belize trip coming up in a few weeks and I absolutely can't wait!!...:)

The Rat Race I'm part of leaves me No time to type out this recipe for Jordan's cake so I hope you can make something out of this for now...:)

I hate to copy stuff onto my blog! Sorry I'm not to good at posting recipes. I like to just go on the key board and just type what is on my mind, rather then trying to look at a recipe and copy it off...:}

The frosting we came up with was not really a recipe... We just mixed stuff... room temperature coconut oil, GHEE, vanilla, 10x sugar and a bit of coconut milk. It was good. The original frosting was just melted chocolate chips and Jordan wasn't into that.... He loved his piece of cake!!

He could tell soon after consuming this piece that something was a bit out of normal but he got over it soon and I think it was worth it for him. We will be giving cakes a break for a bit again now...:)

Tomorrow I plan another food sensitivity educational/support group here at my house. Starting at Ten o'clock. If you are educated in the types of food we are eating in America these days and how they are harmful to our bodies we would love to have you help educate!

If you are looking to learn how to "baby step" towards a healthier life style for your family we would love to have you here learning with us as well!

Bring your favorite recipes, your favorite healthy kitchen "go to's" and if you have something healthy or creative to taste you are welcome to bring that to. I do plan to serve a light brunch of a few of Jordan's favorites each week. If you want to add to it you are welcome to do so but no need to feel pressured and no need to bring much, just a bite to taste along with the recipe to share would be fun...:)

 If you have younger children they are welcome to come along with you. I do have lots of toys in the basement. I know for me I got more education out of going alone but I totally understand if you don't want to get sitters for something like this! I have my live in sitters that spoil me...:)

I'm off to finish soup canning and mow yards... Life is a gift and we are so blessed!!
