A New Year!

It's a new year!! We had a fun start to this 2015 year! We made it to the cabin with great friends. It was a four day weekend for us. We had a relaxing time, it's always refreshing to sleep longer in the mornings, read a bit then start the day off with fresh air on the fun mountain trails that we have come to love so much. Dave and I made it out every morning for a run. Two days were just lovely with crisp cold yet sunny weather. The last two days were a sloppy wet mess but we still got out in the mornings for a run/walk.

Mike and Lori, Jr and Ruthie, Jason and Ann Michelle were the families that joined us at the new cabin location. We played lots of games and chatted late into the nights! It was great to catch up with these fun couples and there families. We ate well! Thanks to the ladies we had great food all weekend!

Camera stayed packed other then a few pictures off of the porch..:) It was just one of those weekends where the camera was not a priority...:) The kids had a blast and Christmas vacation was enjoyed to the fullest!!

Today we have SNOW!! I had to slide a bit on the roads today but it didn't keep me in. I picked up bread for Jordan in Leola and made a few other stops along the way. If you want to try Jordan's favorite bread I have a few extra loaves. They are seven dollars a loaf. Seems like a lot but we make them go far and they freeze great!! Jordan has so enjoyed being able to do something with bread!! We get really creative with his bread to! We all like it but I'm still baking bread for the rest of the family most of the time.

Not the greatest picture but these Little's spend hours outdoors!!... With this dog!!

Justin was home with a belly bug today. He slept it off and he seems much better this evening. I was able to leave Javon with him while I went out on the snowy roads so it was kind of nice to have him here today...:) I got home and Sasha was inside the back door all wrapped in blankets! Our favorite blankets to! The ones that Jen sleeps with every night!! Javon just had to let her in! He said she was shivering in her brain!...:) I didn't have the heart to send her outside so she an hour and a half nap indoors today!! She has a perfectly fine heated dog box but she so prefers to be with the Little's 24/7!! Spoiled and I don't even really like her! She slobbers so bad and the blankets are now being washed!

We are once again in preparation mode here... Dave and I are off to San Diego soon. I'm preparing food and stocking the freezer once again. Jordan is great in the kitchen if the food is here but I'm also trying to prepare lots of food for Mom. It works the best for Jordan to stay home when we are out for a few days so we started getting people to move in here to the house. It works perfect and this time it's my parents!! How perfect! I hardly feel like I need to make any notes since mom does things pretty much the same way that I do them..:) The kids are so looking forward to have Grandparents (and of course uncle Allen) moving in!! I'm looking forward to the goals retreat and the California SUN!!!

Our winter is flying!! Dave and Justin are planning a mission trip with our church to Nicaragua.

Lots going on and we are happy to be into another year. This new year has brought goals to my mind but I want to focus on them more this weekend and I'll share more on them later. Running is great and I want to do more of it in 2015. We get out a few times a week but with the weather not so ideal right now it is a bit harder to keep up the miles.

Justin is asking for a haircut so I'm off... Enjoy the lovely white snow!
