Yup it's the beach!! Wildwood/Cape May NJ!
Everybody is enjoying the waves! The heat wave we had last week has helped to still have the water temps pleasant!
This fun getaway was part of a customer package deal!...:) Early spring on Memorial Day Weekend this hotel suite had a temporary bar set up out on the beach. The township came in and shut them down the very first weekend of there "very short window" busy season! They had gotten a shed from us before so they called the shop in a tizzy needing a beach bar built ASAP!! Jonathan was working with them and he made it happen for them as fast as he could. They threw a weekend of family pleasure in for us as a thank you! We are enjoying the ocean view with a very quiet beach. Some free food and drinks to! Last weekend it was quit different here I'm sure with the closing of the busy season for this place!
As I type the sliding door is open, the breeze is perfect and I hear waves!! Jordan and Javon are sacked out on the pull out couch and Jen has a bed to herself where she is also sound asleep! The guys have a game of Aquire going on in Justin and Mark Andrew's room at the moment so I'm catching up on some computer time...:)
The Little's are exhausted by the time heads hit pillows, even though it's not even all that late! Jordan needs his sleep and so he gives out early to... BUT... then he is up with the sunrise! Plus he is out along the water looking for anything that might be moving! He loves watching the many dolphins we have been seeing here!!
Jonathan's, Peter's, Papa's and Mark Andrew are here with us. They all arrived on Thursday already but we opted to wait until Friday so the children can get school in on Friday. We did take them out a few hours early so we could beat rush hour traffic and I'm glad we did because even with good traffic the road time seemed to go on and on! I did all the driving so Dave could continue work...:)
Dave is working on organizing his Tuesday night event at Shady Maple! If you ever wondered what we are doing in Belize and what is happening on the ground there on the island of Ambergris Caye, (specifically the MBV project) then you want to be at this event!! Food will be available to you as well! Come out and learn all about Belize and the project we are working on there! Contact Dave or I if you want to come and we will get you seats!! (Tuesday night at seven o'clock)
Cousin time is the best for these kiddos!!...:) We are so BLESSED with a great family to spend time with here this weekend!!...
This building is the reason we are here... Justin was among the crew that was here for a few days to assemble this cute little building... I remember when he came home with sand in his shoes!...:)

As you can tell we have the beach basically to ourselves! The weather could be nicer but we can expect it to be a bit chilly in September. It just seems weird that it was so HOT most of last week and now we are wearing layers!
One more day here on the beach then Monday we have a birthday boy in the house! He is the start of the birthday celebrations for us! We have one in September, one in October, one in November and one in December!!...:) I think it's perfect! We want to celebrate somehow and I also hope to finally get to some canning next week!!
