It still feels strange to me to sit here on the computer when the house is so quiet! I am getting used to it by now but now and then I turn up the music...:) Dave stops in now and then and he is like "What are you doing in this quiet house all alone AGAIN!?" My days really do go so fast though!
Supper is already cooking in the crock pot as we hope to rush it through and get to the Chiropractor this evening. We only see Doctor Steve's office about every six weeks now and even this comes around fast. We are still so thankful for this great Chiropractor that God lead us to!
It's Beef Stew...
It's also my night to take a meal to Grandma Beiler and her caregiver. I'm in charge of lining up the Wednesday evening meals for these two. If you know grandma and want to take her a meal contact me. Every person to offer her a Wednesday evening meal makes my job easier...:) My sisters and cousins do a wonderful job helping me along with this!! At times I'll just get them a Dutch-way takeout meal for something yummy yet simple on my part. Mommy Beiler looks forward to her supper and most times when I get there her caregiver tells me she was asking about food! She seems to age more each time I stop. Alzheimer's is so cruel! The last time I stopped in she had her face bloody! She just sits and picks her face open! The scabs get picked until the skin is all gone over and over again! Please pray for her and for patience for her caregivers to! She can wear one out!
My Grandpa Dienner continues to slowly fade. I stopped to see him and he is hardly eating anymore. Hospice comes to the house every week day morning to bath him and change the bed sheets. Grandma Dienner is so thankful for these kind peoples help! The children then all take turns to come put him to bed in the evenings. He mostly just lays and sleeps. He did know who I was. (he does not always) He said he likes his bed, he said he sleeps so well on his new hospital bed! Prayers appreciated for Mommy and Daudy D to! It must be so hard to get old!
This is what we have been doing the past few evenings!...
Jen is thrilled to be borrowing Mark's pony cart!! The pony was getting fat and Jen did some bare back riding but not enough to give this guy enough of exercise....) She likes to feed him carrots and apples and brush his hair but none of those will make his tummy smaller...:) For now her daddy is hitching him up for her after supper...:)
Justin is working on the road more and more! He is going out with the prefab crews and he loves the extra hours plus the change of scenery is fun for him to! Today he is in Virgina quickly getting a double wide hinge roof put together ahead of the rain storm!
Last night Dave and I beat him and Jordan in a game of corn hole in the basement! It was only by one point!! It was fun! Justin is a blast to hangout with and we are all enjoying his slower pace since the ball season has slowed down! He is coming up on his sixteenth birthday really soon!! Javon loves to crawl all over Justin and tease him until he finally gets rowdy with him!..:) I LOVE to watch big brother with siblings! Maybe it's because I never had a big brother but I think it looks like so much fun!..:)
Jordan's life is SO BUSY!! At times I think he's stressed out but he handles it well...:) He gets his share of fun stuff to do but by the time his day is over he is so tired!!... He has homework a few days a week. He was up long before the sun this morning working on a book summery due today. He asks Justin's advice on school work some nights as they sit at the bar side by side, I love to see Justin patiently telling him the steps that neither Dave nor I would have a clue how to do!!
Jordan puts tree stands together and he is anticipating the final opening day of archery season on Saturday!... I think we still have about six ladder stands here to assemble and he is so sick of it so if you like to assemble and need something to assemble please come visit our garage! #ihateclutter!
This is what greets Jordan on Thursdays after school...
Infusions are done as soon as he gets home so he can have the evenings free. We tried to do them close to bed time so he can go to bed after he is done but most times the sites welt bad and they can be painful. Trying to lay down and sleep when these things hurt is stressful so we do them earlier so he can do things to get his mind off of the site pain. The pain normally only lasts a few hours and it is not always as bad from one week to the next. He likes the arms since this seems to be less painful but the tissue is getting stressed because I can feel little lumps in his upper arms so we try to rotate more now.
Diet is going well. Jordan is still gluten, dairy and egg free. We get creative with pumpkin for his sweet tooth right now...:) He was happy to have pumpkin for his muffins again... And he made a pumpkin latte using coconut milk the other day during football game...:) He still takes great care of himself in the kitchen!...:)
Plexus has come to a stop here at our house. (A few people were asking how it is working for us) I should have known it's not my style. I did, but I stuffed the small voice and decided to give it a try anyway. I hate to think of being closed minded and missing out on a miracle cure. The testimonies got me. I love how it seems to be helping people and I'm by far not speaking out against it, it's just not for us at this time.
Real Food is more my style of healing! I like the idea of whole real food and whole food supplements. (I'm picky with these) Jordan does take lots of whole food supplements along with his whole foods diet. We also do fire cider and Kombucha tea here. Raw Vinegar and Diatomaceous earth. Herbal tinctures when necessary but not constant. I switch things up and we don't take every thing every single day. Juicing is great! I go by spurts with the juicer and Vitamix. Essential oils get slathered and defused here every single day!
I have come to LOVE and appreciate YL essential oils! My basket of oils goes with me to each bedside at night. It gets parked above my pillow at night and when or if the children come to my bedside at night with any kind of ail we have the oils right there! And some of it might be a head thing to but they soon seem to feel better when I put oil on it...:}
(Naomi I know what you are thinking and if I had a tongue face on here I'd stick it out at you!...:})
I like to play it safe and use things that have no label of ingredients especially ones that I can't read or pronounce. I didn't like the feeling of dumping powder out of a package into our water with Plexus. I also didn't like the idea of doing this every single day for ages!? Swallowing pills is one thing but drinking the same thing for days on end probably would not go over to well here. Plus Jenika and Jordan got really sick on the Plexus product a few times. (probably to fast because they did like the flavor)
Healing comes slowly. I felt like I was rushing something onto the body that it was not ready for. Maybe we will try again someday but for now we are back to square one with food and food supplement sources. I never even dared to tell Jordan's nutritionist that we were trying Plexus! One day while on the phone with her I was telling her of his unusual symptoms. Not feeling well and he had swollen lymph's under his chin. "Her question to me?!... Is he taking anything new or out of the ordinary that you know of?"... My mind shot to Plexus but I hung up the phone without telling her!
That is when I made the decision to not mess with what she is working on.... Helping Jordan heal through food is her mission and so far my mission and testimony has also been food so here we go...:) (I believe Plexus has great food sources to and please don't let my opinion discourage you! (I just didn't like my gut feeling on the product)
I know what works here won't work for everybody and there health problems. I know how we choose to do it can sound complicated and it takes lots of effort. It does some days! But... once it becomes lifestyle it really don't take that much effort. It's just finding the discipline to stay at it UNTIL it does become lifestyle...:) That was and is still the hard part... ~sigh~...:)
I have directed a few people towards Plexus since I think it's great to start something rather then nothing! I still love the testimonies of gut healing taking place!! I love how people are waking up to the "Leaky Gut" fact and the damage that it is capable of doing! If Plexus triggers this then give it a try! Read your body through your skin and eyes. It becomes easy once you do it for awhile...:) I'm even starting to read other people... How weird is that!? I do not have a cure for all but in my opinion you can never go wrong with adding more water, and replacing fake food for the real stuff! It's that simple. Try it and see if many of our health issues won't clear up!
Maybe this is you...;}
Anyway enough on that subject...:)
Allergy season was rough this year! We will be glad to see if the rains tamed the air pollution a bit! I heard of many people with asthma and allergy problems this season! Jordan's eyes flare up when he does four wheeler rides when it's dry and humid! His allergies are not near like they used to be but we are seeing a glimpse of them again right now. We have had unusual humidity for it being so close to October! The rains here are bringing cooler temps and with it being October in a few days we will welcome the more seasonable temps.
The yard and flowerbeds got done yesterday again. I can tell it will soon be time to pull out all those annuals that did so well this year! My sun coleus are enormous! I gave one dollar for them back in early spring and some of them are almost as tall as me!! I will miss the lovely color in the back yard as fall comes to die them off....
Quote... "The beauty of fall is watching how BEAUTIFUL things really get when the old stuff dies off "
This took place this week... Picture taken offline... Each setting was taken about ten minutes apart.
A Blood Moon, Super Moon, Lunar Eclipse!?
What does it mean!? I believe it is something. We know that God already knows what it is. This is where we leave it. In God's hands. Until the day he calls us home we are to be his hands and feet. We need not focus on anything more. We do not need to fear. We do need to be aware of the evil in our world today. Prophecy and History tell us we won't get away with what we are doing as a nation here today. We are here for a purpose and in this historical time it can really be exciting if we are ready to meet Jesus!!... Be his hands and feet in this dash (-) of time!!
His promises are our comfort in this evil world!...
I found this while out for a run this week!...
My favorite of all time... Honey Suckle!! I didn't think these bloomed this time of the year!? God put it there just to BLESS me that morning!... It was the only one that I could find in that whole area!... Thank You Jesus for caring about the every detail of my life!!...
I tell my family... "Jesus is preparing my mansion on "Honey Suckle Lane" on the golden streets in heaven and I expect you all to be there!...:) They like to think I'm crazy!...:)
Have a Blessed Wednesday!!
