Winter to Summer...

We have went from Winter to Summer!!:) We planted garden and are now watering the seeds. I was outside this morning pulling some leftover weeds. I threw the weeds into the yard and my Little's came along behind me with the wagon picking them up...;) I have flowers to plant yet to. We got our wave petunias last week and it sounds like the weather will be perfect for getting them in today!
Edge trimming is another thing I like to do real good in the Spring. I think I will be able to get it with my small trimmer this year. Sometimes I rent an edger but if I keep after with the small trimmer I don't always need to do that.

I love when the "Spring" outdoor work begins but then it is always a good feeling when the clean-up is done, the flowers are planted, mulching, garden planted, then we can just maintain it and watch it grow for the summer...:) The projects here will take a few evenings of "Family" working together but I look forward to it! The garden shed needs a good organizing and we plan to plant blueberry bushes and grapes as an add on to the growing garden.:) The pond will be up and running soon, we always enjoy to hear the water running at the pond again. Jordan has noticed the big catfish is still in the pond that he caught last summer at Floyd's! We didn't see it at all last fall after the pond was cleaned up and figured something took it but it must have a good hiding place because he is still in there and Jordan is delighted and keeps checking on him!! He was even out with a flashlight last night!!

The hamster is also missing again!! He has been missing now for almost a week! I haven't seen any sign of him and assume he got out the door or is dead somewhere in the house!? We have the cage on the floor in hopes he will return to his food but I'm about to put it away. The Little's have been enjoying the blocks (which are still on the table!) and they were making houses for the Hamster daily. I'm thinking they must have had him out and in the block house and forgot to put him back or else didn't close the cage door when putting him back in?!

Our week-end was relaxing. We had our first campfire last night!! Jonathan's were here and we even made a few steaks on top of the campfire! The kids enjoyed the marshmallows over the fire to!  I was not feeling the best. I felt like I had been fighting something all week last week. Everything I did took extra effort and I was always so tired!! I even took a nap two days last week! My stomach was struggling. I know there is a stomach bug going around so I'm thinking that must be what I was fighting. I kept up the juicing and exercises even though I had to force myself to get my runs in! I'm HAPPY to say I feel much better and more like myself today again! I'm looking forward to a new WARM/SUNNY week!! Thank-You Lord for healing!!

Our juice this morning... Ginger, Carrots, Kale, Apple, Swiss Chard greens. I delivered Dave's to the shop after dropping the kids off at school... I love to visit him in the mornings...:) After the weed pulling I took a break for breakfast... Mushrooms, Spinach, Asparagus, Eggs, topped with Avocado and Tomato..Fresh Squeezed juice and Blueberries plus coffee! Now you can tell I love breakfast! It's definitely the biggest meal for me everyday unless we have evening plans.

My Jen and Javon (Little's) picking up my weeds in the yard today... I think they were surprised when they stepped outside and found it so pleasantly warm!! Notice the green tint coming through in the grass!?? We are so happy to see it!!:)
We have seeds sprouting like crazy in the basement!:) I guess they like it down there where it's cooler and not so dry! I can't wait to plant this stuff in the garden!:)

Monday evening came around so fast!!:) We have PTF at school this evening on top of our already busy Monday nights!:) I think we will be skipping the gym tonight though.

Some things I found interesting...

And since I had some in my breakfast I'll share this yet...:)

Have a great Monday... Enjoy the warm sunshine... It seems Spring will be short and we are going from Winter to Summer...:)       WE LOVE IT!!
