What a Week...;)

What a week...:)

We are looking forward to Christmas!! One week away!!! We are baking cookies, organizing the house and getting extra runs in to get ready for the extra holiday calories that are sure to come!..:)

We cannot wait to spend hours and hours with family!!

Jordan had his first day at Linville yesterday. I dropped him off for testing and as I pulled away I had tears streaming!... Like what have I just done!!?? I felt so bad for him!! He was so brave and in a sense this is harder for me then for him..:)

His class and the teachers have went above and beyond to welcome him!! This helps!! I told him to take a lesson from this and always welcome new comers with open arms! He has only three boys in his class and the one said to him "You have no idea how happy we are that you are here!" Jordan asked him what they usually play at recess and he punched another boy in the class and excitedly exclaimed... "We used to play three square but now we can play four square!" Thank You Linville Hill for this kind welcome!

Jordan needed supplies so I dropped both boys at Walmart where they spent an hour gathering his stuff. Dave went back to pick them up. Justin has been the biggest encouragement for Jordan! He helped him with his homework last evening and he is such a blessing to Jordan right now! He knows what it feels like to move to a new school and have to adjust to the new drill. Middle school at Linville operates like Faith High with a teacher for each subject and lockers. Jordan says it will take some time but he can tell he will like this.

Jordan admits he will learn so much better here and he also admits his Fairhaven classroom was becoming one big game!... We are still praying for Jordan's classroom at Fairhaven and we still are not sure if we will be returning with him next year but for now we are not regretting our decision  to pull him from those surroundings. He will miss his friends!! We plan to clear his desk this morning... Pray for us.

Have a BLESSED day....
