Springtime "Rat Race"!?...:)
We are enjoying the Spring like weather!! The weather has brought with it a new kind of motivation that is keeping us stepping!!
We rolled hundreds of meatballs today for a youth party here this week end. We made lots of yummy fresh fruit salad for Linville Hill's grandparents lunch tomorrow where I'm helping with the serving.
We planted the tomatoes, peppers and herbs in the garden yesterday!
We have a shed pad prepared for a new shed!! I love being married to a shed man!! My husband does well with my "hate clutter" obsession and he has designed the perfect shed for us that we could not have went to a shed lot and found!...:) Thanks Hon!! We had a doghouse a chicken coop and we were talking about getting a run-in-shed for a future pony for Jen. I asked my wonderful shed man husband if there was some way we could combine all of these things into one building to get rid of clutter!? He said Yes!!
We will sell the chicken coop and the dog box and then add a run-in or a stall for that future pony!... It's perfect for us with a dust to dawn chicken coop door and a doggie door to keep Sasha warm in the wintertime!! I hope it arrives this week yet!...:) I will post a picture when it comes!
We have the ball games started. The big boys won their first game last evening. They love the baseball months!!
Last evening Dave went to Linville Hill to the business meeting and I went to Fairhaven for PTF. Justin school (Faith) has a parent meeting tonight but Dave has his Real Estate meeting this evening so we will be missing this one. Today is parents day at Fairhaven and tomorrow is grandparents day at Linville Hill. Jordan is participating in track team with Linville today and we will be going to watch his competition later this afternoon all the way in at Lancaster somewhere. We have track and fields coming up. We have fieldtrips to! I'm praying that I can keep it together through the crazy last six week of all three schools! We are blessed with great education for our children! I must remind myself these years will pass by all to quickly!!...:)
I have gotten a few flowers planted and we seeded some new grass. We edged around the garden and the unfinished projects are getting attention. How I love this time of the year when everything feels so fresh and new!! The waterfall/fishpond is running and it is music to my ears at night with the bedroom windows now open a bit!!...
New life is springing up everywhere and I want to slow down and enjoy every minute!! I just haven't found a way to do it yet this week!... So I'll enjoy it during my busyness... We are a pure "Rat Race"! I told Dave "Let's not get caught up in this busy springtime "Rat Race" this year!... He looked and me and grinned as he said "We are a "Rat Race"!" Oh well I can say we are truly blessed!! We are healthy and we are alive.
Enjoy the Lancaster County springtime "Rat Race" with us!...:)
#soblessed!
