I very much enjoyed the two days at the beach with my church lady friends! It was so refreshing and the weather was perfect beach weather! Hot and sunny, yet with an ocean breeze that's so inviting! I never take my camera on this trip, I love that I can head out to the ocean with just a towel, chair and a book...:) And I get to spend the entire day at the same spot if that's what I choose to do...:) We all just do our own thing with this group of ladies... Some shop, some sleep, some sit under the umbrella, some don't like the sand and just sit along the board walk and enjoy watching people most of the day! It is a great time with laughter and getting to know this group of ladies the past Summer's has been a highlight for me!
I felt like I had much catch up yesterday. With my house still lived in, I had the work backed up. It seems when Mom steps out things get backed up, but that's fine with me. I think my family enjoys these days to...:) I can catch up eventually. I did the mowing yesterday. We have been blessed with lots more "pop up" rain showers so the grass needs mowing often! I do love the rains!
Jordan had his treatment yesterday again. He has been doing well. I had an ear appointment in towards Lancaster, I made a few stops along the way... I made a stop at the AT&T store to get Justin's phone fixed and when I got back out to leave, my van wouldn't start! Battery issues! I got jumped by a very nice man that was also getting his phone worked on and I was just in time for my 1 o'clock appointment, but then I didn't trust shutting off the van so I just used the spare key to lock the door and let it running the whole half hour I was in the office!
I stopped and got a few things together for Africa, I dropped off the supplies and I also took along the things that the others had gotten together as well...:) Looked very interesting!! (Coming your way Dave and Rose...:)) I made it back before Jordan was done with his treatment... because of the nice sunny day he was having a hard time sitting so long!! He went straight to the pool when he was done.
We had church last evening. A very nice members meeting. Our church is working through some issues but it's in a great way, we are trying to all work together and keep the unity in the process...:) We are getting there and I love all the people at church!! It was a great night with church family!
Today I have started out with a three and a half mile run, then the cleaning got started early. I took Jordan to the shop along with breakfast wraps and fruit for Dave and Justin. I don't have Rachel Ann tomorrow so I told the kids I want to work ahead today, then I'll hang out with them tomorrow. At the park maybe?
The boys are off to camp on Sunday, We want to enjoy them before they go! Next week end after camp is the Zook family vacation to New York. I still need to get my preparations made for that yet. We plan to head straight from camp closing program to New York! I will definitely have to make a trip to camp sometime next week to pick up laundry because it will be needed for New York! The boys go through so many clothes at camp! They are looking forward to camp week very much!!
Jenika is doing her morning chores along with me this morning... It's so cute... Justin told her he will give her two dollars a week to clean up his room every morning!! She makes his bed (mattress on basement floor) and brings up his laundry! She carries up the whole hamper because she don't want to touch his dirty wash! She dumps it in the laundry room then takes the hamper back down again!:) She is starting to be a great help around the house! She loves to be in the kitchen making cookies for the boys lunches....:) I can tell they will enjoy her more and more as she gets older! It's great to watch them connect in the loving way that they do...:)

We have a chiropractor again this evening. The chiropractor is very impressed that I'm running 9-10 miles at a time and holding so well! I've been injury free so far this Summer and it's great! Often in the Summer when I start to put on more running miles I injured so easy. I'm hoping to do my Summer training injury free!!:) Dave is holding his position better to but he seems to have a hard time as soon as he starts to put on the miles. He found trails go better for him.
We are off to enjoy another Summer day!! My babies will enjoy the pool and four wheeler today while I catch up on house work... then we hope to have a fun day off together tomorrow...:) Justin and Jordan are both at the shop today. Looks like more rain forecasted for today sometime!!... What a strange weather pattern we are having so far this Summer! It is great though!! We are feeling BLESSED!!

Happy birthday to my special sister Kath today!!! I know how ready you are to have that baby dear in your arms!! You are a great Mom and your children are blessed to have you for there MOTHER! I know the feeling of even the smallest tasks taking so much effort!! But you know what?? So soon you will forget and baby will make all this worth it!! Can't wait to meet "Little One!"
