Antibody Refill Time...

Today is treatment day for Jordan. This time of the month seems to come around so fast but we are as "Thankful" as ever for these treatments! Jordan has had a great Summer health wise again. Today when his nurse Susie first saw him she said "Wow Jordan I think you have grown!" He is starting to shoot up and his morning runs are helping him slim down some...:) Yesterday he did two miles!!:) So proud of you Jordan!

Justin has Wednesdays off at the shop but he took the time to mow sister Kath's yard today. He did a great job and she was so glad for him...:) I went to pick him up and I got to stay and hold baby for awhile...:) Baby Alan is so darling and so far he is a very good baby... Adjusting is always a trying time for siblings of the newborn along with momma! Austin and Leanna are loving having a baby brother but they are missing Momma time to...:)

We hosted the moonlight run here at our house last evening! It was a fun time hosting the moonlight runners. It got late till we got to bed but it was worth it...:) We had a five and a ten mile route. I took the five because I wanted to have the snack out when the rest of the group arrives, plus my foot is still acting up...;/  I also did all the yard work... Mowing, hoeing, trimming, blowing after Kath's corn day. How was I supposed to have energy for a ten mile~!?  ~sigh~  A few of us did the five and about ten or fifteen runners did my favorite ten mile run through Atglen and Christiana, then on through the vineyards. Dave did the ten miles! I told him his body is not ready but he said "what I lack in strength I make up for with my mind", he is so right! He would die trying!...:) He did fine...:)

The food preserving has started here this week! It was Kath's corn yesterday. We did her corn at Marilyn's. Kath joined us but she spent most of the day resting on Marilyn's bed while we did her corn and looked after the other kids... She said it was s refreshing day for her...:)

Today I did pickles... The easy stuff is first...  At least it's a start and the cooker is now warmed up for the season...:) I love this time of year once I get rolling... It's just the little bit of vacation time we have left that I want to enjoy along with all this extra work...:)

The weather is perfect today! The humidity has left and it's only in the 70's! It sounds like it will be even cooler tomorrow!... The sky is blue and the clouds are puffy white... What more could we ask for?

Feeling Blessed... Have a great evening...
