I always enjoy the picture taking time with that birthday child of mine...:) Justin and I walked down some deer trails around here until we came to this old shed of some kind. The rocks and ferns were fun to since most of the leaves have blown from the trees here...Justin's fourteenth birthday pictures done a bit ago...
This young man is growing up before my very eyes! He gets on his bike with his back pack and bikes to Walmart or the grocery store for me! He loves his young siblings and takes great care of them when I'm out! They sometimes give each other the fun look when they know we are going out! I think they tear it up in the house more when we go out.? I don't mind them tearing it up when I'm here to, and they do their share of it! But the noise is unreal so I never can take it for more then a few minutes...:) Justin is the life of the party and when he is present you are always in for some laughs and a good time for sure!...:)
Dave and the boys are out shooting target with the guns, practicing for the big buck season coming up. We plan to be at the cabin for buck season and Justin is hoping to get a buck yet. They are off to the library after that.... Saturdays here are all different and that's what we like about them...:)
We love you Justin... Happy 14th Birthday!!!
Justin at 2 years old... It has been an honor to be the mother to call him "my son". God has BLESSED us!:)

Wegman's was the place for me this morning, after having coffee early with friends, Dave and I went our separate ways. He had a meeting and I went to see if Wegman's is "Gluten Free" friendly...?
I was not disappointed and I don't think this will be as hard as I thought it might be.
It seems like it might be easy as long as we stay on routine but I'm thinking the parties, cookouts, camping trips, cabin getaways is going to be the hard part for Jordan and his gluten free diet. I always buy more snacks and treats for these getaways and Jordan loves to eat good food, so the challenge will be a hard one for him at times! I'm hoping to have him completely off gluten for a few weeks then maybe let him try it slowly and have him recognize how it makes him feel different. I wanted to do this "gluten free" thing myself and do it with him, and even maybe the whole family?? But at Wegman's this morning I got the feeling that gluten free food is way more expensive, so there will things around here that will be "only for Jordan" to eat.
I again spent much time in the fruit and veggie aisle. I discovered my favorite simmer sauces that I like to put in my dishes have a wheat base. This made me sad because they add so much to my casseroles. I will look for alternatives and also the pasta that we like will need to be replaced with something else.
The blood test the chiropractor wanted to do on Jordan will wait for now. I think I will just try him "gluten free" and see if it makes a difference. Susie has a hard enough time finding his veins when the antibody month rolls around I don't want the chiropractor/nutritionist to go digging and make it harder for Susie. The veins become weak after a while and the scar tissue can hinder finding a good vein.
We have a Thanksgiving feast planned with my family tomorrow since Thanksgiving day is not working out for my family to get together this year. Christmas shopping is pretty much done for me! So excited for Christmas in Belize this year but I want to take time to enjoy it here to. Having the shopping done early might slow things down a bit so we can enjoy the wonderful season in both places... :)
Remember to thank God over and over again for the many BLESSINGS he has blessed us with this Thanksgivings season again... Have a Blessed Saturday...
