A crazy schedule here this week!!. What is important?? What shall I work on first??
We do love the month of May though, it brings back life and color to our landscape and the windows can be opened again to let the Spring breezes in. We love to see the garden sprout and with the crazy schedule comes mowing twice a week but we are loving it! It's always a more relaxing pace when school is over so we are looking forward to that to.
Today was the boys track and field day at school. I always enjoy this day but today had me in at Lancaster for another ear appointment, I was not able to be there till lunch. I came just in time to bring the kids Chick fil-a for lunch. I watched a few of the boys activities before heading out. The older boys don't seem to mind if I'm there or not so with the yard sale tomorrow and Rachel Ann here cleaning I just snuck away.
We have early evening dinner plans. Out for SUSHI!!:) Us and Jonathan's are taking Danny's out for the extra "headaches" he has been putting up with at the shop...:) Danny is in charge of overseeing the work of 45 beach cabana's!! They are detailed and more work then we are used to out there. After next week they should all be complete and Danny did a super job with these cabana's!! We love having Danny at the shop and also Rachel Ann here!! One works for Dave and the other for me...:) We don't know where we would be without them!! Looking forward to a night out.
I have my pile ready to haul to the yard sale. I hope the weather will be OK, it looks kinda showery as of now?? I do not know what time this thing kicks off but I need to be there before the sun to get my stuff in order. I will not be the most organized party there I'm sure!
I did get rid of a pile of stuff already. I wonder why I don't just blog it and have people come to my garage, that way I wouldn't need to bother with loading it all up...:) Maybe next time I'll do that!!! Some family members had fun in my pile, I love to see them make out good with my kids stuff! That way I might at least get to see the clothes on them...:) I still have tons of stuff though!! Come out bright and early I'm sure it will be worth it! It will be a big one!!:) Pray for the rain to hold off for us...:)
Dave and I had a lovely run at Wolf Hollow Park yesterday morning!! We headed out the drive for a run and we started talking about how lovely it would be to do a trail run with the sun coming in through the trees! We decided to get in the van and drive the 3-4 miles to this lovely park!! We were not disappointed and the weather was perfect!! We came back home and hosted my family for a cookout. We were glad to be here and not a park because the weather kept sending us for cover. The showers have been great. They are mixed right in with the sun!! There was even a rainbow in the west one morning this week!
Today on my way into Lancaster I stopped at Pet Smart and got Jen another hamster! I felt bad for this empty cage sitting here and they really did miss playing with this guy! He never did show up anywhere yet...;/
I'm off to do some outdoor work before our evening out...
