Jordan's Dream Day On The Bay...

Jordan considers himself the luckiest guy on earth to be invited along on this fishing day that my Bother-in-Law puts off for his workers every Summer!! He got out of the house yesterday morning early, and never made it in until the rest of us were already in bed, soon after ten o'clock! He was so Happy to have caught the BIGGEST fish on the boat!! It was also the last fish caught! He said it was a tough one to wind in!

They get a big buffet breakfast before heading out to the bay. They get to snack some on the boat then they get pizza on the way home!

He is cutting much of the sugar in his diet these days and I'm so proud of him,  he asked me if I think it would be okay to have just one soda on this fishing day?...:) I said sure, I think it would be a special enough of an occasion for a soda...:) Not sure if he had one then?

It is a great rainy day here today!! Things were just starting to get dry, the rains again came just in time for me not to have to drag the hose to the garden!! So blessed we are with rains and cooler temps this Summer! The air conditioner is having a break this past week and we are loving the opened windows again!

 

 

The garden is giving us lots of  beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, peppers, the honeydew and watermelon will be coming out of our ears shortly! I planted five watermelon plants because we so enjoyed the lonely one plant I planted last year. We only got a few yummy watermelons off last year so this year I decided to load up and they sure are hanging thick! We can't wait until they are ready! I bought one in the store but they are so expensive and I even had one that was not good! Such a bummer when that happens!

 

My Run this morning... Was WET!!

It was not raining when I left a little before seven o'clock but soon after I got on the road it started to rain. I decided to keep going anyway but by the time I was half way into it, it was really raining,  it was kinda fun! It got my speed up and the rain drops kept me cool. I just had to bury my phone and Ipod a little deeper,  I was soaked to the skin until I got back...:) I love running, even in the rain, as long as nothing hurts and this morning was better for my leg...:) ~Happy Dance~


I'm so happy that I love coconut... Check out these amazing benefits...:) I use coconut oil every day but I get kinda sad that coconut cake, coconut pie, coconut ice creams and custards don't count on this list of coconut benefits...:)
