More Snow?? On the way??

More Snow?? Maybe?? They are saying three to six inches here today but it hasn't started snowing yet. What a great time of the year to have white snow laying on the ground!! It has been years since we have had a "White Christmas"! The kids played in the snow so much already but the temps have gotten much colder so they are never outside for to long!

My Little's enjoy Saturdays together!! Today they have made a game out of the Christmas gifts!... I gave orders not to rip them open and they seem to be having a blast with this gift game they made up...:) We plan to have a Christmas party with the kids here this evening. With going to Belize we figured we would give the children's gifts and do our Christmas giving early this year. It will be kept low key but we are all looking forward to it...:)
Yes it's camouflage wrapping paper!!:) It's not every year that four of us get a buck here!!! We figured we'd keep it going into Christmas yet...:) We are enjoying the deer meat tremendously! The deer jerky that I made got a tad to spicy, The next batch will only take half of the pack of seasoning mix!

I had a small part of my morning this morning set aside to take pictures of this precious new bundle today! I got in a five mile run then quickly set off to do pictures in hopes of beating the snow, and it's still not even here:} The baby pictures we got are darling, they will make adorable birth announcements! I just love this baby doll!!
I even got to snuggle her for a while after the photos shoot!:) She is perfect! Here she is in Daddy's arms...:)
Rachel Ann, you make the new mothering thing look like a breeze! You are totally a natural and you have the most precious bundle! Thanks for sharing her with me!...:)

Does this new momma not look great just a week after giving birth!?? Enjoy this stage of "newborn newness"...:)

Last evening was the children's school Christmas program. They did amazing, I love to watch them perform on stage the songs and poems that they worked so hard at practice for so long! Thanks to Mr. Beiler, we have a great chorus! He works so hard with these kids, I'm sure it must take way more patience then I could ever gather myself!!

I'm sad I didn't get my camera out for this special evening because the kids looked so nice all dressed up! (I really meant to!) After the program Justin invited some friends over. He had a small party in the basement. I got some snack out for them and they played "round the table ping pong" and some other fun stuff. I went to bed awhile but I think the last of them left around eleven thirty PM!! Jordan had joined the party to. I love to see him and Justin connect more as he gets older to. They do more activities together in school now that Jordan is in the fifth grade, and I see them connect more in small ways at home as well.

This was the last Christmas program for Justin at this school! I can hardly believe I have a child this big and in the eighth grade! I asked him yesterday if he really feels as old as he looks??? He said "Yes Mom" (with a roll of eyes)  I said well I sure don't feel old enough to have a child this big and I told him he needs to stall a bit, right here, right now, if he would please??!! I do love his stage and he is such a blast! I feel I'm just growing and learning right along with him! He is now wearing some of his dad's clothes!

Jordan made some "gluten free" cookies today for the Christmas party tomorrow. He will be eating these for his dessert at dads tomorrow. They really do look really good!?

I plan to make a "Jordan friendly" dish for our supper for the evening then. I'm thinking lunch might be the challenge with dads yummy fondue soup on the menu and also sandwiches but we will make the best of it and I'm sure it will work out fine. Hot lunch at school this week also had Jordan taking his own lunch. We are still trying to get used to this because he used to enjoy schools "hot lunches" so much!

Enjoy the coming snow, IF it ever gets here...:) Be a blessing to someone today...
