I had a nice coffee date with my cousin Linda today. We talked about almost every subject I can think of that we would have wanted to talk about. (like all the girl stuff:)) It was great to catch up again! We were inseparable as childhood friends and we still enjoy connecting on days like today! Thanks for the fun day Linda! You are a blessing in my life!

The kids were off of school today though, for a teachers day thing today, I forgot about this until yesterday. I decided to still let Rachel Ann get Javon out of his school this afternoon and to keep my plans as they were. The three oldest obviously had a party here on there own while I was out, according to the way the house looked when I arrived home anyway!

I told them I'm going to be upstairs for a few minutes and while I'm up there you need to work together to clean this place up! It was bad! Lunch and breakfast stuff still setting out! ~sigh~ stuff everywhere!!  I had hoped I had trained them better then this by now... I heard the comment from somebody... It was more fun before mom came home! Yeah of course it was because it is now suddenly clean up time...:)

They had some chores to do while I was out but obviously they still had time to party! I really do enjoy them though and we enjoyed the slower start to our day this morning! I got a five mile run in before they were even awake, the darkness in the mornings has put an end to my week day morning runs so this morning was a treat again:). Breakfast was later and we then created a dish for Dave and the kids lunch for today... whole wheat pasta, mushrooms, onions, lots of veggies, shrimp, chicken and fish, shredded cheese on top... It looked amazing and I noticed there are some leftovers for me to taste tomorrow...:)

I had fun with Rachel Ann's baby registry today to! So exciting it is with this baby bundle on the way! Due close to Javon's birthday in about seven weeks!! Her baby shower is coming up soon and we are so excited to get her "more ready" for this little one! As of today she still had Javon and she was making Jenika some new dresses... I, at times have mixed feelings about this new baby coming...:) Will I lose her??~!  No, we won't for now...:) Even though it will be different I like to think we will just be adding to the fun!

I'm off to see how well the house got put back in order... Maybe I can now walk without tripping on stuff???  Life would be SO boring without kids!!!
