Belize Today...

God winked at me...:)

It's another lovely very warm sunny day here in Belize today! I step outside in the mornings and instantly get a sweat going. It's a perfect breeze though so it's totally bearable.

Yesterday we had no Internet connection here on the property for some reason but today it's up and going again.

My days are flying by! I am so enjoying the reading catch up not to mention the rest. Other then walking for miles and miles each day I'm not doing a whole lot else...:) I was alone yesterday from the time Dave left for his all day tour yesterday morning until last night when I met up with the group again about seven thirty! I was down town from eleven o'clock yesterday morning until about three o'clock in the afternoon. I was at the hotel pool (where the group is staying) for a few hours but not in the sun longer then about an hour. It's to hot. I soon find shade and read on...:) I was checking things out in town awhile to. I dropped off some laundry at the laundry mat and had lunch at Waduguma's after walking miles on the streets trying to decide where to eat good local food. Back off the beach a bit is where we find the cheapest more authentic food and it's so yummy! It was actually my breakfast and lunch since I'm not really getting hungry for breakfast at all! My system is so whacked down here!

We are still eating our dinner desserts at ten o'clock at night here! That is midnight at home! Yes at times I feel like I'm about to fall asleep as I'm taking bites of my food! It's a very busy educational few days and they are packed out with information to the point of almost overload sometimes! I'm just jumping in and out of the meetings this time so it's not to bad but it does take hours to eat a meal with this group since they do lots of teaching/talking over meals! It's all very interesting and we always learn more about what is going on here and around the world.

Today started early for the group again. They met around seven to have tacos together for breakfast. Dave and I get up early here! We can't sleep much past five since it's bright and sunny around that time! I keep declaring to Dave that I'm going to sleep in once since I'm dead on my feet by the time we get in at night, but then by morning I give him a good laugh when he sees my eyes wide open by five thirty! Time is to short to sleep it away here anyway I guess. We go out walking and have a coffee at the "Rum and Bean" (a neat coffee shop a hundred yards from my front door where they know us by name and we are just keeping a tab open:)!) SPOILED? BLESSED!

After Dave left this morning I headed out again. Walked and Walked!! I have not been finishing my suppers so it's breakfast/lunch out of the doggie boxes for me today. The group has an earlier day off and a free night tonight so Dave and I can do our own thing for supper. Hopefully we can eat a bit earlier then we have been the last few nights. Tomorrow is an early day to and we have Tony scheduled to take a few of us from the group lobster diving/snorkeling and all the stuff that comes with Tony's day trips sometime in the afternoon!... Tony Bar-B-Q's the catch for supper on an island somewhere. We did this trip with the family on a cold rainy day and it was still fun! Remember Jordan!!?? Oh my you were still so chubby here...:)

Remembering this with the kiddo's!...Missing them today! What a BLAST we had!!

Keep watching for the updated Lobster diving/swimming with sharks etc. types of pictures on here I'll be sure to post a few...:)

Here are a few pictures I captured on my venture out this morning...

To my kiddo's... Do you recognize any of these pictures!?? I'm thinking of you tons and wishing you were here with us. Many of these places take me back to Christmas vacation here! Hope you are all doing great and enjoying your days with your caretakers! Love You!! Mom

Enjoy the pictures of the beauty of nature that surrounded me here this morning...

Who remembers the bean bag games!??

The cloud in the sky was carrying rain and it gave a good downpour! I had to duck under some trees and wait it out. It was sunny and bright the same time that it was pouring!! Weird. They say you never know when the rains will pop up here right now but that fast it's gone and the skies are perfectly blue again. Dave says "oh good here comes a cool off shower!" Not the case because it's hotter then ever!...:)

The group is due back here at MBV soon so I'm off to meet up with them... Enjoy this day of rest.
Thanks for Tuning in.... We have another Field Trip coming up in February sometime I think. Perfect time to come to Belize!! If you want to come see this place for yourself there will be room for you on the tour!

ps... Thinking about you today Kath and my family at your house!! Now that today is over for you lets slow down and get together next week!! Wednesday is food group meet up... come and then stay for the afternoon. I will ignore catch up until Thursday...:)
