Catching Some Blog Time...

Seems like it's been long since I have sat behind the computer... We have been to busy for blogging:)

We are enjoying the lovely fall weather!...

The warmer temps have us outdoors for hours and hours! We can do this kind of fall weather! The leaves are just stunning right now to!

I'm waiting up for the man of the house... He has been out of town since Thursday morning. We are all looking forward to having him back! The Little's will be happy to have "daddy" waking them for church...:)

It was New Orleans for Dave. His Mentoring Club Group had a booth set up and they all had assigned times to be at the booth representing Real Estate. In between those assigned times were workshop sessions that they could take part in... Dave is really enjoying this new venture of his and it fits his personality perfectly. Even though it has him on the go more I really have come to like it to!

(He used to hunt more so it all probably equals out in the end...:}) It has slowed down our pace of life just a fraction so far but it is still a welcomed step on this step by step journey. I can do lunch with Dave and sometimes morning runs now to!! He is all around just more relaxed... This is all since he handed his dispatching job off to Peter...:) Syndication is now a new passion along side all else he has going on...:)

The past days just flew by!!

I was in charge of teacher workshops at our school for lunch and supper on Thursday. This had me at school most of the day. We had so much food leftover since the crowd was smaller then I had thought so we used up the leftovers by doing a whole school hot lunch on Friday to!

This had Rachel Ann and I rushing through the cleaning yesterday so I could quick get to school and heat up the leftovers to have them ready to serve by lunch! I was so glad for Brenda since it was just the two of us serving! We were scrambling at times as the lines were coming through and all the little ones needed help to fill there plates, but it was a great way to use up the leftovers, and since each mom sent food for Thursday we figured this was the best way to get the most out of it... Many didn't complain about not having to pack those lunches!! Jordan of course had to have his packed lunch!... He is such a champ!

It felt good to come home yesterday afternoon and do the mowing, trimming and blowing...The day was so lovely!!  Busy but rewarding day it was!

Today started with a seven mile run then it was laundry catch up and also cleaning my upstairs... The big boys were hanging garage doors at the shop all afternoon and the Little's enjoyed carving my front porch pumpkin and playing school today...
They are still enjoying the golf cart!! The thing just goes and goes here! The cold weather will probably give this thing a break but if it's nice they are out riding most days!...:)

Yesterday Javon was jumping alone on the trampoline when all of the sudden I hear a scream that normally does not come from him!!! He hit his mouth on the side and his teeth went straight through his lower lip!! Cut inside to the outside! He was in so much pain for a bit!! He is so brave though! Last night as he was sleeping I slipped over and rubbed some oils on it. It is healing well today.

Jenika had a fun evening out with my parents! They took her out for her birthday which is coming up on Monday!! They ate pizza and got her a gift! Guess what it was!!??

It was a NEW HAMMY!!

Hamster back in the house spinning his wheel!

This hamster is a bit different then the others we had and it looks a bit less like a mouse. This kind has a hard time with heights and he already fell often. They can't grab on to things as easy therefore they fall right out of your hand or down from the top of the cage! Javon and I were watching him settle in and we were just laughing at how he just kept falling down! I'm sure they will enjoy this thing this winter! I will post pictures soon...:) Thanks Mom and Dad!! Jenika thoroughly enjoyed her time out with you guys!

I'm off to get some much needed rest!... Have a BLESSED week-end!
