This feels a bit strange today.... Jordan has a new nurse. This nurse works for a pharmacy that is "in network" with our insurance company. We were attached to Susie so this feels strange and new today but he is playing play station with Jordan and he is thrilled about this!.
Jordan said last evening "I hope it's a guy!" I said no it probably won't be! Thinking if it was it would feel awkward but when he called me this morning to tell me what time he was coming I told Jordan by the sound of his voice not only is it a guy but I'm almost sure it's a colored guy! Jordan was anxiously peering out the window when he pulled in and he couldn't hardly wait until he steps out of his car to see if I was right!! He is really nice and knows what he's doing, he got the IV in the first shot. A little farther down his arm then he's used to but it worked!:)
No matter the color of the skin, God has made us all. After spending the last weeks with so many people of a different race it kind of wakes us up to the fact that God's people are made up of all different races. I just had to laugh one time in Mexico when this short little man was on a step stool to juice oranges! We bought a fresh squeezed juice from him and he was so small he was actually cute about it! The Mexican people seem short and the Belizians were anything and everything type race... God made life interesting when he added so much different character...:) And language!
This guy is a runner! He runs eighteen miles at a time! He took a drink when I offered him one! The whole year and more that Susie was here every month not once did she take anything I offered her! Not once did she use the bathroom! She was here sometimes five hours! I did often send things home with her like cookies or whatever I was making in the kitchen that day and she loved it but she never ate or drank anything I offered her while she was here!
I'm not sure if we will get Nufactor pharmacy and Susie back or not, I want to check into it but for today we are so thankful that this pharmacy was able to work so fast to get Jordan his meds! His tan makes him look so healthy! I love tans on my kids!
I soaked beans overnight... I made great rice today and the beans were in the crock pot for hours. I have chicken in the marinade to try my luck at Caribbean stew chicken for our week end dish~! I need to get those plantain things yet to grill up and we will have a full blown Caribbean meal!...:) This is a Jordan friendly meal, other then the garlic, I just think it adds so much to this dish to not add it in!
I have had my running clothes on all day determined to get a run in! Every time I headed out (three times now) I get to the garage and it's pouring and even sideways at times! Now that Jordan's nurse is here I guess I must give it up! I wanted to get out at seven o'clock but it was so foggy here! I figured I'd wait until the fog lifts but by then it was raining. I should just have went because I'm really feeling the need for a run. Maybe tomorrow??
Mom was here awhile today and Dad and Allen stopped in for lunch. It was good to see them again!
Have a great week-end... We are feeling thankful for antibodies AGAIN!!
