We spent all day outdoors so far and this afternoon we are heading for the shade or applying a heavier sunscreen because we caught enough of sun today!
We have a gym across the street from us that lets "Exotic Caye" guests use. They have a really big nice pool, this is where we hung out after breakfast for a few hours. We had family devotions on the beach this morning, since we were thinking we better hang out in the sun while it's here. (pretty much the case until today) It surprised us and stuck around ALL DAY this time!
The guys just plastered on the sunscreen and headed out to the reef with kayaks to do some snorkeling! It was included with our lobster dive the other day but since the rains kept interrupting and freezing us we just skipped the beautiful snorkeling part of it. I'm glad they still get to go see the beauty of the reef today! The boys will love it!!
My Little's and I are here hanging out below the house. They are having a picnic on the beach...:)
They go from the small resort pool, to the beach, We have lots of sea grass out front here in the ocean water so they only wade in the ocean a little to see the neat fish that hangout in the sea grass. They come in and out of the house as they please to!:) We have most meals included here, right down off of the porch is the restaurant, so they even go back to the house after they are done eating, leaving Dave and I to sit and chat a bit longer!...:)
Our family time "love tanks" are all being so filled up down here! I'm always determined to not get caught up in the "Rat Race" when returning home from these trips, yet it seems it never goes to long before we are again so busy with the demands of life in Lancaster County... So we just hang on tight and enjoy the journey of the "Rat Race" to, because we truly do love it there, it's home, where it's cold and snowy, but it's still HOME and we are going to be so ready to see HOME again! Snow, cold, and all!...:)
But today... this moment... we get to hang on to this...!~
Last evening we ate more of Jordan's fish... This was the place that prepared it for us along with beans, rice and coleslaw. It was a feast and we brought enough leftovers home for two more meals!!
This morning Dave went and got some tortillas, eggs and butter, then we cooked the eggs up, heated some leftover rice and beans along with the fish that was mixed in and we made tacos with it! We added some "Marie Sharp's" sweet hot sauce and it was so yummy! It's amazing how these meals really feed and keep us full for hours to! The lady at the restaurant taught me how to make Belizian "Beans and Rice" and I'm sure we will be eating more of this at home to!...:)
We have one more day here, we are happy that today gave us a beautiful day with true blue skies and a hot sun!
