We had a more low key day today. We are still recovering from our day yesterday...:) Dave and I ran a few miles this morning. We got our water taxi tickets today for our trip out of here next week. We plan to leave here on Tuesday morning.
The sun peaked a few times today and it's so warm we practically live in our swimmies, we still have the many clouds hanging around though, more then we'd like but oh well we can't change the weather so we are making the best of it, (I'll take it over the freeze up North!) the kids still swim and Jordan still FISHES!! Every day off and on he FISHES!!! He makes so many clothes so stinky and with trying to be conservative with the laundry around here he sure don't help the situation at all! But he caught a few more snappers off the dock today and he loves to take Javon with him fishing!! They are often in there own small world on the dock!...:) Seeing his enjoyment makes the stinky laundry okay...:)
We found a family that has a small restaurant at there house that will cook up Jordan's leftover fish for our supper. They will serve us the sides to go with it. Barracuda fish had me a bit paranoid after I read they can be poison! We ate some yesterday before I read up on this!! I googled it and it was mixed comments so we asked at the restaurant and they said that they can eat a fish that can be a poison which can contaminate the Barracuda to but they said that's in August and the people here eat Barracuda everyday so we are off to eat it for supper... 6.00 US per person for a full supper...:) We have all been enjoying the rice and beans now that we are immuned to them...:)

ReplyDeleteYes Mom we are all well....:) We are ready to chat again to but it has been great to have a "phone break" I do miss my phone though. And my laundry room I shall try to never take for granted! We are running out of shampoo ect so time to get home as those things cost like double here! We leave the docks here with the water taxi Tuesday morning to Chetamal Mexico. From there we get a bus to Cancun which is about three hours I think? We want to be in Cancun by Tuesday evening where we spend the night then fly out of Cancun on Wed. We will be in Philly by evenings. Dave goes to California from Cancun for a goals retreat he had planned so I'm praying all goes well for me and the kids out of Philly! No more snow storms please! Thanks for your prayers! Tell Allen and ALL hello from our family! Dave and I had the Babies out on the bikes (they sat on our handle bars, Beize style) for ice cream this evening! They are so dead tired after supper every evening because they play so hard during the day! They go to bed pretty early! My guys are thrilled to be watching the Eagle's here this evening!...:) Good Night, miss you all...
