A "Love" Day...

Today was a good day. We are feeling so blessed. We are tired by evenings! We are enjoying our guests. We are trying to figure out this weather. It's unusual for here. It's unusual for this time of year. January was lovely. February started out great but the past week has been so unpredictable and today we only had a few peaks of warm sunshine before the chilly rainy air was back. Tonight we have wind and we can see peaks of the moon as the clouds roll on so I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring!?

Happy Valentines Day!! I forgot to get a picture with my Love today! We were just to busy...:)

We plan to do a valentine date out tomorrow night before some of our guests leave on Tuesday. I will try to make a point of getting couples pictures...:)

Today was a pretty normal Sunday for us in Belize. We enjoyed taking our guests with us to church, park for lunch that we picked up on the way, then to the Truck Stop for the "Corn Hole" competition!

The Church Message was titled... "Nothing Like Feeling LOVED!"

My Notes... (I want notes of these)

Feelings... Of... Confident, successful, attractive, influential, Loved...
Feelings can be misleading. They are secondary to understanding.
Do we look for the acceptance and approval of others? Are they based on achievements?

Reality... Feeling Loved by the standards of this world is so conditional and changing.

The Bible says... "We are the OBJECT of Gods Love!"

Object... Gods Love... Focus, Direction... Deut. 7:7-8

People loving us depend on our performance. But God Loves us for who we are!

Must we impress??

Jeremiah 31:3 "Yes, I have Loved you with an everlasting Love!!

We are the OBJECT of God's care!

Psalms 8:3-4
What is Man that you are mindful of him and that you visit him!? David asks... "Why oh Lord do you take TIME for me!?

Luke 12:6-7... God knows every detail about us AND he CARES!!

Luke 12:24... Far more valuable! Comparable to NOTHING else!!

We are the OBJECT of God's Blessing!

Ephesians 1:3-4 God LOVED us even before he made the world!! God had already BLESSED us!

2 Peter 1:2-3... Has given ALREADY!

Psalms 35:27 God takes PLEASURE to BLESS us!

"When we receive the Love of God it helps us to Love those around us!"

Jeremiah 32:40-41... I want to do them good! God is  A good God!!

We are the OBJECT of God's thoughts!

Psalms 40:5 His thoughts about us are more then can be numbered!

Psalms 139:17-18 Thoughts... More then the sand on the sea shore!! Wow!

God "Thinks" so much of us!! Do we realize this!??

How do I respond to such a Love as this!?

God Loves us no matter how much we mess up or how we look to others!

Simply Receive It!!!

Lots to ponder on... this message today!

We got Jordan's infusion in this morning before church. His supplies are starting to feel like they are getting low so this means it must soon be time to head back to the states again! Time has flown yet in a way it seems like we have been here really long now...:) Jordan is running with us almost every morning and I will miss this time with him once we get back to a more demanding schedule!

The Truck Stop was okay for awhile today but when we advanced and the rains came it was kind of a dragged out affair! We sent the three boys home with Scott's and played in the rain! Jenika had her swimsuit on and she was running around in the rain as if she were swimming! The golf cart ride home was a bit chilly and the hot showers felt amazing!

Dave and Justin were on a team today. Jonathan and Mark Andrew were on a team. Scott and Ashley were on a team. Marilyn and I were on a team. (we advanced to the second round!) Jordan was on a team with Eric. The closest we got was Jonathan and Mark Andrew. They came in at second place and got twenty five dollars worth of ice cream but at this point we were so cold, wet and rushing for home that we could have cared less about the ice cream anymore!...:) It was a good day anyway!

This morning before church... How we he ever go back to a demanding schedule!?:)

Charlie comes home with us from church almost every Sunday! These two have become great friends!

This is where lunch was picked up today! You will see these tarps and the food is authentic and always real good! We ate it at the picnic tables at the park...:)

Hannah...:) She has an eye for small details... like the tiniest/neatest sea shells!

Dave is enjoying his brothers here and Justin is enjoying Mark Andrew!

Cousins are the greatest!... These two!...:)

The Aquire games go late into the night at one house or the other! The kids just play or give out behind a movie at night! The school kids here get to bed later then usual but it's okay. I do hope school will go well tomorrow though since we have not been doing school since Thursday! The schools are out here tomorrow for some reason and I'm hearing of some snow back home so maybe the home classrooms will be off tomorrow to!?? I was tempted to tell Ariel to skip tomorrow (when she asked) but I decided against it and maybe we will do another day off later in the week before Jonathan's leave.?
