Gorgeous Day + Progress at MBV!!

Today was so gorgeous! We enjoyed it to the fullest!

This girl has so many skin issues here though! There is almost always one bug bite or another bothering her! Her blood is one they seem to like! The bite was fire ant I think and its swollen and got a fever in it. It has happened at least three times this winter now that she had so much drama over a bug bite!... This was her spot most of the beach time today...

Dave's cruise ship stopped off at Cozumel Mexico today. I haven't gotten any pictures from him yet but he tells me he is busy in classes most of his days.

This was our day today in pictures and the progress that is happening here on site at MBV!

This Keeping Suite Lot will be used for retail! It went up so fast!

General Store downstairs office spaces upstairs...

"Back of House" now has windows! This is for laundry, maintenance and storage and that type of thing.

This residenial Family Cottage show model with it's own pool, boat slip and yard is well on the way! The pool is in and it already has a nice deck!

So much planting is still taking place!! This stuff is well cared for and the landscapers have certain days where all the do is water all day long!...:) They are on top of there game and it is looking so alive around the lots!!

I will miss this LOVELY place so so much!!! Not to mention the slower pace, quality of life "Lifestyle"!!

These two do so much together!...:)

He has no idea how blessed he really is...:) He loves fishing with his brother!!
These two fish almost every afternoon/evening right now! They caught a big Jack Fish off the dock the other day! In Dane's casting net! The net even ripped from this big fish and it went to Tony for repair! The fish was a huge highlight of the day! It was so yummy cooked to!! Jill seasoned and blackened it. I will see if Jordan can send me a picture of it...

Jordan seriously!?

Taken off the Great House top deck...
Justin enjoys making himself useful. He was busy on site here today. He was organizing this bottle stash one time when I walked by...

He was even in the Rum and Bean kitchen today doing dishes and helping Mack. They are in hiring mode right now around here and two new girls came in to the Bean to start work today.

A hotel management company has a few great guys on site right now and they are so so busy organizing, hiring, training and lots more behind the scenes stuff that needs to happen to get this place up and running! Chef Dan is one of these people and Justin is taking orders from him right now and loving it. We wish we had gotten him busy sooner but it went well and he enjoyed his winter here with very little physical work. He is about to get hit head on next week as things start to pick up at the shop! He is looking forward to coming home.

We are getting excited to see our house again! As the time comes close I keep thinking of ALL the things that I will appreciate in my kitchen! I declutterd before we left home and I had pretty much decided that when we return I will need to be replacing/updating many things in my kitchen but after being SO limited here I think I'll be content with what I have for awhile!...:) It's all good though and it has been so good for me to have only six plates and six forks for awhile...:)

We are so BLESSED!! Good Night from Belize...
